The bidder should have at least one similar work of value not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract in the last five years. They should also have completed similar works for a minimum amount as indicated, which is usually not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 716.582 Lac, which is usually not less than one and a half times the estimated cost of the project. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed civil construction work (not less than 90% of contract value) as a prime contractor. They should also have a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering construction, with a total value of civil engineering construction works completed in the last five years. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should have experience in civil engineering works of similar nature and size completed during the last five financial years, including having completed at least one similar work of value not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract in the last five years. The contractor or their identified sub-contractor should possess a required valid electrical license and have executed similar electrical works for a minimum amount as indicated. They should also possess a required valid license for executing water supply/sanitary engineering works and have executed similar water supply/sanitary engineering works for a minimum amount as indicated. The bidder should provide an experience certificate, which includes information on the total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years. Each tender must be accompanied by a letter stating previous experience of contract work carried out by the tenderer with value thereof and with a testimonial form of the Engineer-in-charge under whom he had worked regarding the manner of his performance. Scanned Copies of the Certificates showing details of similar nature of works, work in hand, and machineries owned or possessed on hire should be uploaded. The required prior work experience includes a minimum annual financial turnover, completion of similar works for a minimum amount, and possession of valid licenses for executing specific works. The values and percentages mentioned include 50% of the estimated value of the contract, 90% of contract value, 716.582 Lac, and one and a half times the estimated cost of the project.
