The bidder should have experience in civil engineering works of similar nature and size completed during the last five financial years. The total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years should be provided. For Contract value up to 50 crores, the bidder should have completed: - Three similar works each of value not less than Rs (50% of 50% of estimated value of contract) - Two similar works each of value not less than Rs (60% of 50% of estimated value of contract) - One similar work of value not less than Rs (90% of 50% of estimated value of contract) For Contract value more than 50 crores, the bidder should have completed: - Two similar works not less than the amount indicated in the appendix (usually not less than 50% of the estimated value of the contract) The bidder should have also executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the following items of work as indicated in the appendix: - Cement concrete (including RCC and PCC): usually 50% of the estimated quantity - Earthwork in excavation: usually 50% of the estimated quantity - Truss Work: usually 50% of the estimated quantity - Reinforcement: usually 50% of the estimated quantity The bidder should provide an experience certificate, which includes the value and percentage of similar works completed. The bidder should have access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities, which is 10% of the contract value, and undertake to invest a minimum cash amount of up to 25% of the contract value during the implementation of the work.
