East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. The value of the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. For substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work. If a bidder has successfully completed a work as a subcontractor and the work experience certificate has been issued for such work to the subcontractor by a Govt. Organization or public listed company, the same shall be considered for the purpose of fulfillment of credentials. The percentages and amounts mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subcontractors - 0.05% to 0.30% of the contract value for liquidated damages per week or part of the week, with a total not exceeding 5% of the contract value.
