(b) Compatibility of Design for Railway Electrification in future. (c) Tunnel ventilation system. (d) Fire detection and suppression system for the tunnel. (e) Tunnel illumination (f) Communication system for emergencies and maintenance. (g) Evacuation scheme in case of emergencies. (h) Surveillance system. (i) Envionmental Impact Assessment. (j) Methodology, Number of fronts, Adits. 1 (k) Disposal of muck accrued from tunnel excavation. (L) List of equipments to be deployed by Tunneling contractor. (m) Ballastless track. (n) Compatibility for provision of Signalling and telecom arrangements. (o) Alingment review (p) cross-section design and structural design (q) Design review during consturction with NATM approach (r) Preparation of BOQ and specification for construction contract (s) Saftey for civil, electrical & signal / telecom systems (t) Design of all associated works with deliverables including electrical & mechanical systems. Note: 1. The design of tunnels shall be governed by the provisions given in "Special Conditions of Contract for Tunnel work and as per deliverables and services available in tender document." 2. Payment for this item shall be made in stages based on deliverables as given in schedule of payments mentioned under special condition of contract for tunnel work as per Para-9 of special conditions of tunnel work in tender document.

Supply, installation as per approved drawing, calibration /setting, maintenance, taking reading at regular intervals, etc. of the following instruments from the OEM/approved suppliers for measuring the deformations, loads, pressures, etc. on the supports in tunnels and for seepage measurements as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Tape extensometer to measure the distance 1 between two points, one tape length of 15 m to be attached to the instrument, tape with holes of 3mm dia at 2 to 3 cm interval depending upon the constant tension device. Fixing hook of tape extensometer should be free to move, at leastcount 0.05 mm accuracy ±1 mm, case cushioned inside for keeping the instrument, the tape extensometer should be supplied with one extra tape of 15m length and a calibration frame, hook type studs shall be compatible to tape extensometer for steel rib deformation and for rock deformation to be fixed along with drilling grouting etc. complete (One instrument section consists of 6 pairs of studs or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge).

Strain Gauge to measure strain in shotcrete, active Gauge Length 166 mm, overall dia 19mm, Range +/-1500 Sensitivity 1 (10 Nos. at each instrumented section, one section at every 200m interval or as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge, to monitor strain in concrete/shotcrete).

Optical targets (Bi-Reflex) in the tunnel roof and at wall at selected points along the tunnel wall to monitor vertical and longitudinal (in tunnel direction) deformation components (5 Nos. at each section, one such at every 25m interval) or as per instruction of Engineer in charge. Optical target shall be supplied complete with adapter (breaking point and 12mm X 170mm convergence bolt with 3/8" pipe thread, Fe550, Galvanised, Protective cap).

Supply as per approved drawing, calibration / setting, maintenance, taking reading at regular intervals, etc., of the following instruments from the OEM/approved suppliers for measuring the deformations, loads, pressure, etc., on the supports in tunnels as direcyed by engineer-in charge. 1 Supply of inclinometer (EAN- 26M inclinometer system or equivalent) at the specified locations as per drawings or as directed by Engineer-in charge. The rate shall include all accessories required for installation including cables and civil works, as per specifications and as per approved method statement. Specification/wheel base: 500 mm Ranging: +/- 30 degree vertical Resolution: 0.02 mm per 500 mm Repeatability +/- 0.01% FS.

Supply, installation as per approved drawing, calibration /setting , maintenance, taking reading at regular intervals, etc., of the following instruments form the OEM/approved suppliers for 1 measuring the deformations, loads, pressure etc., on the supports in tunnels as directed by Engineer- in charge. Fixing of casing and fittings for inclinometer as per the drawing or as directed by Engineer- in charge. The rate shall include per RM price including all accessories, fixtures, tools etc., as per the specification and approved method statement, Civil works include Drilling through concrete, shotcrete, rock and soil, installation, fixing and grouting for installation in the scope of civil contractor.

Supply, installation as per approved drawing, calibration /setting, maintenance, taking reading at regular intervals, etc. of the following instruments from the OEM/approved suppliers for measuring the deformations, loads, pressures, etc. On the supports in tunnels as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Shotcrete/concrete stress cell NATM style Vibrating wire stress cell to measure radial and tangantial stresses in shotcrete or concrete, Capacity of stress cell tangential 200Kg/sq.cm and radial 50Kg/sq.cm. Accuracy+/-0.5%. Each stress cell shuld be marked with capacity,serial no. etc 1 along with syfficient Teflon PVC or similar cable sheilded, intergral with stress cell for taking observation using the proper read out. Connector/switch/junction box to be attached to the cable of stress cell for connecting to readout. The readout should be compatible to vibrating wire stress cell, rechargeable battery Radial & operated. LCD dispaly, stress cell should be calibrated with readout, Tangential connector to connect the stress cell, perfectly sealed to make it dust and moisture proof including battery charge and one extra recharable battery. (6Nos at each instrumented section; 3 for Radial and & 3 for Tangential; spacing at 200mtr c/c or as per direction of Engineer-in-charge to measure stress in the concrete or shotcrete lining.)

Supply, installation as per approved drawing, calibration /setting, maintenance, taking reading at regular intervals, etc. of the following instruments from the OEM/approved suppliers for 1 measuring the deformations, loads, pressures, etc. On the supports in tunnels and for seepage measurements as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Vibrating wire Type rock bolt load cell of Capacity 25 Tonn, bolt load cell opertaing temperature (-)10 to (+) 55 degree centigrade,built in temperature device device range(-) 45 to (+) 100 degree centigrade, signal cable,4 core sheilded teflon/pvc or similar cable with pvc jacket waterproof, stainless steel material and with lightenning protection device . 5 nos. at each instrumented section, one section at every 200 meter interval or as per direction of Engineer incharge, to monitor the Load coming on load cell.

Transportation of survey team, installation and monitoring & maintenance instrumentation team along with the equipment(s) at site during the contract period .
