Procurement, Installation, testing and commissioning of 02 nos (01 working + 01 standby) Submersible pump sets of suitable parameter along with allied works. The Submersible pump should be suitable to pump up desired amount of water from GL to 200 M or till suitable aquifer is obtained for minimum 4000 GPH or above GPH capacity as per Borewell specification/strata & as per site condition ,as desired by EIC . Both the pump sets shall have following specifications: The Pump bowl should be of close grained cast iron with renewable wearing rings of bronze material. The Pump shaft shall be of stainless steel, guided with stainless steel distance sleeves /shaft protection sleeves provided with each bowl above and below the stainless steel/chrome steel impeller. The Casing wearing rings shall be of bronze material. The Coupling shall be of Mesh type rigid sleeve of stainless steel, non-slipping type with matching groove and cotter arrangement to suite keyway provided. The Suction case shall be of close grained cast iron material. The motor should be three phase AC supply having nominal speed of 2900 RPM, 400 Volts + 15% of frequency 50 Hz + 3%. The motor should be totally enclosed squirrel cage induction type, water cooled and sealed against outside water being pumped. The windings shall be wet type water lubricated and provided with metal tilting thrust pad designed to take up all untoward load to most unfavourable running conditions. The upper chamber of the submersible pump shall be duly fitted with an NRV so that during stoppage of submersible pumpset reverse water cannot operate the pumpset in reverse rotation. The job involves fabrication of adopter Nipple/reducer nipple approx 0.5 mtr long/ required length fabricated out of MS Pipe, of which bottom end diameter is to be reduced to the delivery of Sub. Pump and threading the Pipe for screwing into the delivery portion to the submersible pump and other end of the adopter nipple to be welded with MS flange of required size fabricated out of MS Plate for fixing with the column pipe.2 No nuts of required size are to be welded on opposite size of the proper piece so that clamping bolt of the tie rod can passed through it. Fabrication of the tie rod clamping arrangement for clamping the pump and motor to the upper adopter nipple, fabricated out of 40mmx6mm MS Plate as per required size at site.

The upper ends of these flat strips should be welded with full threaded bolt 12mm dia. and 10 cm long. These bolts are to be passed through the nuts welded on the adopter nipple piece, tightening of the 12 mm double nuts on both sides including cost of material and labour charges. The Job includes coupling of both pumps and motors properly checking of movement of the pump, tightening of the adopter nipples to the delivery side of both the pumps, tightening of tie rods and testing of the pumpset in the testing pit at workshop. The Job also includes providing of 3’’ dia MS column pipes 10 ft for length upto aquifer & should be duly welded at both ends and attached with MS flanges-02 nos. to each pipe and all the column pipes shall be properly painted by using two coats of anti rust primer and two coats of super enamelled black paint. The flange shall be properly welded and supported with cleats, so that flanges can attain extra strength. Shifting of the submersible pumps, column pipes and 10 Sq.mm 3 core flat submersible copper cable. In length to work site. Providing fitting of 3 core flat 10 Sq mm submersible copper cable-200 mtr. In length to be connected with submersible motor and other end shall be duly connected with panel. Lowering of submersible pumpset into the Tube well along with the column pipes of suitable dia. as per pump head/capacity and requisite material such as rubber flanges, nut/ bolts etc. by using special tools and tackles. Making all electrical connections of Submersible Pumpset with LT control panel by proper thimbling and crimpling all cable ends and then testing and checking for specified amperage on full load. The standby submersible pump shall be properly stacked inside the pump room at appropriate place, so that it can be utilized in case of failure of the lowered submersible pumpset in future. Providing and Fitting of new Sluice Valve and Reflex Valve of suitable dia one No. each of reputed make confirming to BIS on delivery line of the Column pipe and fitting by fabrication and fitting of flanges, rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts, etc. Complete job includes cost of material and labour charges at site.(Make of Submersible pump: Kirloskar/KSB/ Grundforce/Flygt. ( Make of cable: Havells/Polycab/RR Cabel/KEI/Finolex /Anchor) Note: Providing Third party inspection certificate from approved Government lab/agency & cost for third party inspection is inclusive in this job. The Characteristic Curve of pumping equipment is compulsory and pumping unit is to be approved from the concerned department before installing.

Providing and fitting of automatic LT control panels cum voltage stabilizer. A) LT Control panel : The panel box of size is (L x B x H) 3' x 1' x 4' dust and vermin proof fabricated out of 14/16 Gauge CRCA Sheet steel of supported on MS angle of suitable size as per site requirement of 1' height of each leg other than the size of the box. The panel should sturdy enough for vibration free operation and Should be equipped with suitable locking /sealing arrangements. The structure should be provided with suitable entry and exit holes for incoming and outgoing cables with glands & lugs. The panel should be given two coats of anti-rust primer and two coats of steel grey / off white enamel paint. The panel to be fitted with exhaust fan for smooth functioning of the panel. The panel base/ ground area should be properly covered with electrical insulating mats. The panel should be equipped with following components / feature: MCCB:- The panel should be fitted with a MCCB ( incoming type)of 100 Amps.( 4P, 36Ka), MCCB 63 A (3P, 36 Ka)-02 nos Voltmeter ( 0-500 V)- 01 no., Ammeter (0-100 A)- 01 no. along with set of CTs , voltage selector switch- 01 no., Ampere selector switch-01 no. The panel should be equipped with suitable rating of copper bus bars( min. 04 nos or above) of suitable size as per the load to be attached with MCCB and contactors to complete the circuit for smooth functioning of panel. Star-delta Starter: The panel should be fitted with fully automatic star delta starter comprising of air break contactors of capacity 70 Amp./ suitable as per pump on site-3 nos. , Timer – 01 no for change over of the supply of motor from star to delta, push buttons- 02 nos. for start and stop operation of motor, LED indicator-03 nos.(Red, Yellow and Blue) for indication of RYB phase, LED indicator-01 no.(Yellow) for tripping indication and LED indicator-02 nos. for ON(Green) and OFF(Red) indication, The panel shall have internal control wiring with flexible copper cable to complete the star delta circuit of outgoing supply with MCB 6 amps.- 01 no. for protection of internal control wiring. Protection device range (as per type 2 co-ordination chart of Siemens/L&T/ Schneider/ABB) : A protection device to be fitted with the panel with capability to: Protect the motor by isolating the power supply of motor by de-energizing the panel from following electro-mechanical faults which may otherwise damage the motor windings: 1. Voltage related fault: (i) Single cum reverse phase relay. (ii) Under cum over voltage relay Adjustable type. 2. Over current faults: Over current relay adjustable type. Bimetal overload relay: A bimetal overload relay which can be tripped as an extra protection to protect the motor in case of failure of Over current relay. The panel should be equipped with terminal plate/Bus bar for connecting leads of submersible cable. The panel to be fitted with an auto operating system comprising of delay timer - 01 no. and Time switch(Quartz) -01 no. to set the time of the motor's running ( in auto mode). The panel to be fitted with an automation system in which the motor tripped due to power failure or by the protection device, should restart automatically after the resumption of power. The panel should be equipped with the arrangement to changeover the mode from manual to Auto or vice versa simultaneously. Making all electrical connections of Submersible Pumpset with LT control panel by proper thimbling and crimpling all cable ends and then testing and checking for specified amperage on full load. Providing/fitting of 25 sq mm single core copper cable 35 mtr in length for connection of power supply to LT Panel from voltage stabilizer and voltage stabilizer to Main switch of reputed make and conforming to IS standards. Each and every work on the above mentioned job shall be of high workman ship and properly thimbled, taped where required as per site requirements. Complete job including cost of material, labour, transportation and miscellaneous items if required, Complete job. B) Voltage stabilizer:
Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of 3 Phase 63 KVA copper wound oil cooled Voltage stabilizer at Tube well Rakh Rara with 1st filling of transformer Oil conforming to relevant IS code suitable for operation on unbalanced voltage input 160 V to 400 V AC supply to deliver balanced output of 400 + 10% volts, 3 Phase, 50 cycles Ac supply comprise of core made of silicone steel bound with copper coil conductor of appropriate quality conforming to BIS with dielectric oil of proper value for cooling stabilizer assembly. The complete unit should be in steel case enamel painted and fitted with steel wheel rollers for easy portability. The 3 phase copper wound oil cooled Voltage Stabilizer shall have the following characteristics features; - I. Continuous duty performance at ambient temperature 200C to 550C. II. Stable and effective under system power factor and frequency fluctuation as well as over loaded up to 50 % of the connected load. III. Low internal impedance. IV. Negligible wave form distortion during starting under operation and stopping condition. V. Accommodate the effect of higher starting current and should be able to recover from the shock. VI. No over shooting or hunting. VII. Negligible phase shift ensuring no change in system power factor. VIII. The Stabilizer shall have; a.) Suitable Breather b.) Leak proof de-sledging and drain cock for transformer oil. c.) Lifting Hooks provided at suitable position for handling or equipment. d.) Oil gauge for monitoring Oil levels of transformer oil. The equipment Shall be designed and manufactured ensuring the safety requirements as envisaged in IS:8447 and IS:302 both with latest amendments. The stabilizer should be provided with an arrangement to avoid any seepage of water into the voltage stabilizer. The stabilizer should be incorporated with core of 1st quality of CRGO/silicon steel with the conductor of 99.95% electrolytic copper. The body of the stabilizer shall be of M.S. Sheet having thickness of 14/16 SWG with the suitable sized tank to accumulate approximate or equivalent Transformer Oil as per the site requirement. The job also includes Providing/fitting of following component /accessories. i. MCCB/Fuses (100 Amp.) Reputed Make ii. Volt meter/ Ammeter/ Selector Switches/ Indicator lamps Reputed Make iii. High voltage and low voltage, relays, earth fault relays Reputed Make iv. Single phase preventer Reputed Make cut off alarm v. By pass switches (100 Amp.) Reputed Make vi. Rotary switch of suitable rating should be provided to adjust the output voltage of suitable rating and should be of reputed make and of heavy duty to withstand all the tests and working load. The regulator should be of heavy duty to with stand all the tests and working load. vii. Heavy duty terminal block for input and output connections should be of reputed make and meant for heavy duty. Reputed Make. viii. Gauge of the sheet out of which panel will be fabricated. 14/16 SWG The job also includes providing of fresh Transformer oil 140-180 litres (approximate or above as per requirement). The Voltage stabilizer shall be marked with manufactures name and trade mark on the plate fitted on the stabilizer indicating rating in KVA, range of input and output voltage , rated output current, frequency, number of phase, type of load viz. unbalanced input and balanced load , quantity of transformer oil and also the reference to the IS: standard. The Job includes cost of the material and labour charges. Illumination of T/well premises outside pump room along the approach by Providing/Laying of 04 Nos power circuits laid with PVC Wire 1.5 mm sq. in the premises of the pumping station connected to panel having 15 Amp. switch one each for each light. Providing/Fitting of miniature circuit breaker suitable to trip on specified abnormal conditions such as those of short circuit/overload etc. Complete job includes cost of material and labour charges.
