Supplying, installing, commissioning and testing of diesel engine generator driven generating set with canopy as per 415 Volts 3 phase, 50Hz supply complete with control panel suitable for giving an output of 40 KVA and RPM coupled with each other & capable of taking 10% over load for one hour on every 12 hours with flexible coupling mounted on common base plate on anti vibration pads on foundation as recommended by manufacturer. The DG set shall comprise of Electric starter motor with batteries. The DG set shall comprise with air cooled & comprising all standard fittings. Make Kirloskar / Cumins/ Eicher

a. Alternator :- Alternator 40 KVA output at 0.80 PF,AC,3 Phase,4 wire ,415 volts 50Hz, self excited self regulated, screen protected drip proof type with two end shelf ball/ roller bearing with damper winding in each pole faces as per IS-4722or BS2613-1970 all as specified and directed. (b) Engine :- Diesel Engine Diesel Engine water cooled and electric start suitable to drive above alternator independently, coupled directly through flexible coupling, multi cylinder four stroke, cold starting, 1500RPM industrial type as per BS-649 Or IS-1601 with electronic governor suitable to regulate speed of DG set from No load to full load completed with fuel tank of cap as per manufacturer recommendations, fuel lines , exhaust pipe duly insulated with asbestos rope and with support and silencer mufflers etc for continuous operation and standard accessories, sump pre heaters etc all as specified and directed. (c) Control Panel:- The standard control panel consisting of control cubical fabricated sheet steel construction, indoor type suitable for mounting accessories, static energy meter with LED multi functional digital meter having display for power factor, frequency, RPM voltmeter 0 to 500 volt digital Amp meter, CT’s operated of suitable ration with inbuilt selector switch indicator lamps LED type, hours meter, low oil pressure indication, over speed indication and high water temperature indicator. (d) Electric Starter Equipment The equipment will comprise the followings:- 1. Maintenance free Battery duly initially charged and Battery lead of adequate capacity. 2. Starter motor. 3. Starter gearing. 4. Start/ stop push button.

Foundation DG set shall be installed on the proposed foundation block size 5200x1800x1050 M22 Concrete mix including installation of foundation with MS 75x40x6 mm x10 feet above ground channels = 12 No and MS work as required at site with complete including GI sheets as required on top of the shelter. If necessary, cable duct, fuel piping GI piping (Medium grade) , complete all as manufacturer’s instructions and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by contractor.
