400 AMPS LT CONTROL PANEL AT HRT LIFT STAGE – 2ND :- Design, fabrication, providing, installation, testing & commissioning 400 Amps (01 no.) LT Control Panel 415 volts, AC- 3 phase, 50 Hz + 5% suitable for operation of induction motors of 150 H.P (110 KW) /177 H.P ( 132 KW) . The panel shall be dust and vermin proof fabricated out of 14/16 SWG CR Sheet supported on M.S. angle of suitable size with provision for fixing it on the ground with the help of foundation bolts. The panel should be sturdy enough for vibration free operation and should be equipped with suitable locking /sealing arrangements. The structure should be provided suitable entry and exit holes for incoming and outgoing cables. The panel should be given two coats of anti-rust primer and two coats of suitable / steel grey enamel paint. The panel should be equipped with following components / features: 1. Incoming feeder for 400 Amps panel: The panel should be fitted with an MCCB 630 Amps., 3 pole 50 KA breaking capacity of L&T/ Havel’s or standard make only so as to break the power supply for rectification of the fault, 01 no. voltmeter, 01 no. voltage selector switch and a set of R-Y-B indicators at incoming side. 2. Outgoing feeder for 400 Amps LT control panel: The panel should be fitted with an Air break Star delta starter for operation of induction motor. The starter panel shall comprise of 03 nos. air break power contactors of 400 Amps, 400 Amps & 250 Amps. capacity of L&T only, (02 nos. for main and delta supply, 01 no. air break contactor for star operation of the motor), 01 no. voltmeter, 01 no. ammeter along with selector switches and a set of CTs and a set of R-Y-B indicators, 01 no. timer for change over supply of motor from star to delta, 02 nos. push buttons for start and stop operations of the motor and 1 no. MCB of suitable rating for protection of internal control wiring, a neat and clean internal control wiring should be made with flexible copper flexible PVC LT copper cable with proper thimbling at each end to complete the star delta circuit of outgoing supply. 3. Protection device / Fault analyzer: A protection device / fault analyzer shall be fitted with the panel with capability to identify and trip off the motor on power failure and on appearance of electrical faults as mentioned below which may otherwise damage the induction motor. The protection device /fault analyzer should provide protection against: i) Low voltage below 350 volts ii) High voltage above 440 volts iii) Single phasing iv) Reverse phasing v) Unbalanced phasing vi) Over loading vii) Dry running viii) Earth fault A bimetal overload relay of suitable range / set of fuses should be fitted within the starter as an extra protection to protect the motor in case of failure of fault analyzer with an isolation/bye pass switch to bye pass the fault analyzer. 4. Testing & commissioning:- The job includes shifting of the panel to each of the above stated site, providing & fitting of 95 sq.mm multi strand copper cable of Havel’s ,Polycab or standard make of suitable length for making electrical connections between the main switch / panel board and the MCCB of the LT control panel and from the induction motor to the LT control panel. The panel should be tested firstly on no load and then on full load with tripping of the starter in the panel on running of the induction motor installed at respective station on all the tests as referred above to test the fault analyzer cum controller, MCCB, contactors and internal wiring of the panel, checking of any loose connections & their rectification thereof etc. Complete job in all respects as per site requirements. Complete job includes cost of panel/ material, labour charges, transportation/ shifting charges up to site of work, including installation, testing and commissioning charges and taxes etc.

Recapitalization of 25000 GPH x 300 meter head, horizontal centrifugal, multistage, low speed pump (Wilo make) installed at WSS HRT Lift stage -3rd . The Job involves uncoupling of the pump from 180 KW (240 HP) Induction motor after closing the control valves, unfastening the pump from the base frame , suction side flange, discharge side flange together with dismantling of connected elbow sections of suction/delivery pipelines, capping the pipelines with blind flanges, there after shifting the same from pump house to outside/road side by way of deployment of manual labour, tripod & chain pulley block and crane/backhoe loader (as per availability /requirement) and subsequently loading in load carrier for shifting to firm’s workshop for recapitalization followed by unloading at firm’s workshop with the help of crane and labour, removing the top covers of the bush housing of DE & NDE, extract the worn out/broken/ fractured sleeves, worn out thrust disc, thrust plate. Thereafter unfastening the tie rods to dismantle the 07 nos. casing segments, 01 no. suction casing segment, 01 no. delivery casing segment, gland cooling pipe etc followed by extraction of 07 nos. impellers, diffusers, shaft, keys, coupling etc. Rebuilding of worn out shaft by way of welding/ deposition of suitable metal alloy, turning/ finishing to desired specifications, rebuilding of threads. Cleaning of impellers and diffusers with the help of emery paper/turning to remove the hard deposited matter. Unclogging gland cooling system. Providing, fabrication and fitting of new impellers - 05 nos., fabrication /fitting of neck rings - 07 nos., diffusers - 03 nos., and shaft protection sleeve – 02 nos. P/F of gland studs in lieu of damaged ones. P/F of 02 nos. brass bushes, Sleeves, thrust plate, thrust disc, packing rings, packing studs of DE and NDE side etc. in lieu of old damaged ones as per requisite specifications. The job covers ensuring proper balancing of impellers, shafts during renovation work. Thereafter re-assembling the shaft keys, impellers, diffuser casings suction & delivery casings, thrust plate, thrust disc, sleeves, gland housing, packing rings, tie rods, gland cups, bushes alongwith p/f of inter-stage gaskets and loading the pump in load carrier by deployment of labour and crane for shifting back to site i.e. HRT Lift, Kishtwar. Unloading the pump at site and shifting inside pump room on the base frame with the help of crane/Backhoe loader, manual labour, tripod & chain pulley block etc. Thereafter making proper leveling and alignment of the pump and motor units, fitment of the pump with the base frame, coupling with the motor, suction & delivery elbows/bends/distance pieces, alongwith p/f of flange gaskets, nuts, bolts, washers, coupling bolts, rubber bushes in lieu of damaged ones, lubricating oil for bushes, graphite gland packing, hose for wash out and thereafter testing on full load. Painting of pump by way of preparation of surface, application of single coat of metal primer followed by double coat of superior quality of paint. The job includes cost of hire charges of tools & tackles, hire charges of crane/backhoe loader, casting/fabrication charges, cost of material, skilled labour charges, manual labour charges, to & fro transportation charges between Kishtwar and Firm’s workshop (Complete Job).
