SUCTION CASE WITH STRAINER: The opening in the suction case for the entrance of the liquid shall be of proper size and shape to avoid eddy currents. Suction case is fitted with a strainer made of corrosion – resistant material. Suitable Sand guard shall be provided just above the suction case bearing to prevent the entry of the foreign matter into the suction case. Coupling: A suitable coupling arrangement provided with pump discharge case. MOTOR: Make = Reputed Make Rating = Suitable for above parameters. Method of starting = Star – Delta Speed = to match with pump Voltage = 415+05 % Volt Class of insulation = Suitable for above rating. The submersible motor shall be squirrel cage induction motor and the windings shall be wet type. The thrust bearing of the motor shall be of adequate size to with stand the weight of all rotating parts as well as the imposed hydraulic thrust and lubricated suitably. The motor windings and bearing bushes of the rotary shaft shall be cooled / lubricated by water. The motor shall have protection by means of cable glands, rubber seals etc from ingress of bore well water, sand and other foreign material. The thrust bearing housing shall be provided with a drain plug to empty the oil / pure water filled into the thrust bearing housing / motor. The motor shall also be provided with breathing attachment like bellows, diaphragm etc to compensate the volumetric variations due to changes in the temperature. The motor shall be made of corrosion resisting materials to resist corrosion under normal conditions and the motor shall have a name plate giving following information: - a) Name of manufacturer b) Manufactures number and frame c) Type of duty d) Frequency in Hz. e) Number of phases f) Rated output in KW/HP g) Rated voltage. h) Approximate current in Ampere at rated output. i) Speed in revolutions per minute at rated output. The pumping unit shall have to be provided with allied accessories / attachment viz M.S strengthening clamp, pump motor coupling. The job includes P/F of G.I. Nipples 2’ long having one side of its threaded and the other side fitted with 10 mm thick M.S. Flange by way of welding in double layers The flange so fitted shall have suitable dia. of holes for accommodating bolts etc. The nipple shall be fitted with submersible pumping unit as per site requirement. The job also includes providing and fitting of U-clamp for holding 50 mm dia column pipes fabricated out of 12mm thick MS strip 80 mm wide and 400 mm in length with 4 no. holes to each half of M16 size. Providing of 50 mm dia R/I washers and M16 size nuts and bolts as per site requirement. The job shall also include making of two number of appropriate openings in the cement concrete sump/reservoir for lowering of submersible pumping equipments. The job shall also include providing and fixing of angle iron/ISMC of appropriate size and thickness for fabrication of plate form and grouting the same in the square shaped openings for holding of the pumping equipments.

Providing and fitting of 3-Core flat 16 square mm submersible copper cable conforming to IS: 694 (Part 1st) – 1964 & IS: 694 (Part 2nd) - 1964 for Submersible Pumping Unit. The cable connections terminal shall be fitted with copper thimbles of required size. :

Fabrication/providing and fitting and lowering of B class GI Column pipe 50 mm ND Confirming to IS1239 of length 10 rft to be coupled with the submersible pumping unit in to the SR. the job includes proving and welding of flanges confirming to IS 6392 taablke-17 and PN 1.6 to these pipes and welding of flanges in two layers to make the flanges joint strong and leak proof. The job includes providing of men/machinery, nuts bolts and RI washers, gasket as per site requirement. ( 3m length for each submersible pump)

Providing and fabrication of 50 mm dia manifold(T-manifold) out of 1 mtr of pipe with length of 1 ft each arm by using B class GI pipe confirming to IS 1239. The job shall include providing and fixing of two number of 50mm dia bends along the flanges/gaskets/nuts/bolts one for each pumping equipment.

Providing and fitting of, Ductile Iron double flanged, non-rising spindle soft seated glandless gate/ sluice valves as per IS14846 of 50 mm dia for regulating the water supply outside the pumping units. The body and bonnet of the valve shall be of ductile iron, wedge with fully vulcanized EPDM rubber(Approved for drinking water) and NBR seal. The Gate/Sluice valve shall be compatible for buried applications and shall be safe to install in both horizontal and vertical positions.

Providing and Fitting of 3.5-Core, XLPE, 1.1KV and 11KV grade 25mm² Armored LTAluminum Cable conforming to IS: 7098 part 1st (1988) as service line from the HT transformer to control panel including necessary Thimbling, crimping, taping etc.

Supply, installation, erection of 6 mtrs long L.T pole of specifications ST- 410 (sp-33). The job further includes drilling of holes for and fixing of clamps, hooks, nuts/bolts, danger plates with clamps and P/F of barbed wire for anticlimbing devices as per site requirement for fixing/holding service XLPE Service line. The job shall also include grouting of pole in to the cement concreate and painting with red oxide and aluminum paint.

Providing and Fitting of single Core copper power cable(16mm²) suitable for LV, 1.1KV/650 V grade, insulated core laid up, PVC inner Sheathed, un-armoured for connecting panel with voltage stabilizer confirming to IS: 7098 part1st, 1988.the job includes P & F of 16mm²copper thimbling, crimping, taping etc as required by the job.

Providing and fitting of DI double flanged slanted seat swing check valve (NRV) 50 mm dia as per IS 5312. The body shall be of ductile iron with fully end capsulated EPDM rubber (approved for drinking water).

Providing and fitting of 50 mm dia ARV as IS 14845 to be fitted to GI rising main.
