The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar civil works in the last five financial years. The bidder must have completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in the originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as Prime Contractor or sub-contractor during the last five financial years and the current year before the date of Notice Inviting Tenders. The available bid capacity should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance. The calculation of available bid capacity considers the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one financial year during the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the last year at a rate of 8 percent a year. The available bid capacity is calculated as Assessed Available Bid Capacity = ( A*N*M - B ), where A, N, M, and B are defined as above. The bidder's experience and resources must be sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts. The bidder must demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts. Mentioned values and percentages include: - one-third of the estimated cost of work (or one-fourth in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts) - 120% of the actual value for road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana - 8 percent a year for updating the price level of the last year.
