Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion conforming to IS: 8887, using emulsion pressure distributer including preparing the surface and cleaning with mechanical broom. With medium setting bitumen emulsion. On W.B.M. /W.M.M. @ 0.4 Kg/sqm.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 3.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade – VG-10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications. On bitumen surface @ 0.50 Kg/sqm.

16.64.1A Providing and laying semi- dense Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying withpaver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.25 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-10 @5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity.

Seal Coat: Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A, Type B and Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 510 (Bitumen S-90) (By Manual Means)

Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in-equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m in -All kinds of soil.

PART (B) ROAD FURNITURE

Citizen Information Board:-Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign Board with logo as per MORD specification and drawing. Three MS plates 1.6 mm thick top and middle plate duly welded with MS Flat Iron 25mmx5mm on back edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25x25x5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of the middle plate will be welded to 2 No. 75x75mm of 12 SWG Sheet tubes posts duly embeded in cement concrete M-15 Grade blocks of 450x450x600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47x47mm of 12SWG Steel plate tubes. All MS well be stove enameled on the both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tubes will be painted with primer & two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 (Incl. all leads and lifts)

Retro relectorised Trafic signs : Providing and fixing of retro reflected cautionay, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide clause 1701.2.3 fixied over aluminium sheeting 1.50mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mm x 75mm x 6mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450mm x 450mm x 600 mm, 600mm below gournd level as per drawings and technical specification clause 801 (Curve, School, Left turn, Right turn, speed limit, busbays, merge traffic, diverge trafficc, give way , stop etc) (Incl. all leads and lifts)

Providing and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro-r eflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semiautomatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.
