The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in construction works of similar nature over the last seven financial years as a prime contractor, with specific requirements for key personnel such as: - Project Manager: B.E Civil+10 Years Exp Or Diploma in Civil with 15 years experience - Site Engineer: B.E Civil / Electrical +3 Years Exp Or Diploma with 7 years experience - Plant Engineer: B.E Mech.+3 Years Exp. Or Dip. Mech.+ 7 Years Exp. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost - Two similar completed works, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost - One similar completed work, costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost - Substantial completions are based on 80% (value-wise) or more works completed under the contract The bidder should also have a minimum annual turnover of general construction work, with at least 50% of which is from Civil Engineering construction works, carried out in any of the last five financial years. Additionally, the bidder should have completed similar works with a value of not less than 50% or 80% of the advertised cost. The available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering constructions works executed in any one financial year during the last five years, updated to the current price level, and considering completed as well as works in progress. The bidder should invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract. The amount of liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities required is not less than the amount indicated in the Appendix to ITB, which is usually the equivalent of the estimated cash flow for three months in the peak construction period.
