The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: 1. General Experience: - One Hydro Mechanical work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost, i.e., INR 100 Crores. - Two Hydro Mechanical works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, i.e., INR 62 Crores. - Three Hydro Mechanical works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, i.e., INR 50 Crores. 2. Specific Experience: - Successful experience of completed works for Designing, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of specific Hydro Mechanical items, including: - Steel Liner for Pressure Shaft with DXH ≥ 835 m2. - Vertical lift gate with AXH ≥ 1250 m3. - Fixed Wheel type Vertical Lift Gate operated by hydraulic hoist or rope drum hoist with AXH ≥ 1250 m3. The value of work in INR or converted into INR from another currency shall be enhanced by 7% simple rate per annum up to the date of Bid Opening. The percentage of similar works completed is 80% (value-wise) or more. The bidder should have executed one or more works of similar nature and magnitude covered under the tendered work package in a substantially completed/completed project during the preceding 20 years. In case of joint ventures, the bidder's share by value shall be considered, and the evaluation of a bidder's specific experience for a work executed on a JV basis shall be based on their role and scope of work in such joint ventures. For joint ventures where the scope of work of individual partners is not clearly defined, the credential of bidders being a partner in a JV shall be decided based on their participation/profit-sharing percentage, with full credit given for a participation/profit-sharing percentage of at least 35%, and no credit given for a participation/profit-sharing percentage of less than 35%. The bidder should provide information on all the works that have been executed during the last five years, including the contract value and the value of executed work during the year. Additionally, experience in manufacture of similar products for preceding ten years (minimum) for certain items, experience in manufacture of specified grade products for preceding ten years, and experience in manufacture of similar products for preceding five years for certain items are also required. The bidder should also provide a list of projects where the vendor’s product has been used in similar application, with certificate indicating satisfactory performance for last two years from at least two clients in preceding ten years for certain items, and certificate indicating satisfactory performance needs to be submitted from at least five clients for certain items. The bidder can propose a manufacturer for specific experience criteria for hydro-mechanical works not met by the bidder, and the bidder and his proposed manufacturer(s) should collectively satisfy as a whole all the specified experience requirements. The bidder should also submit a self-declaration regarding financial soundness, technical capability of proposed subcontractors/sub-vendors. The manufacturer shall submit Performance Security in the form of Bank Guarantee/Insurance Surety Bond equivalent to 5% of value of Work sublet in addition to the Performance Bank Guarantee/ Insurance Surety Bond for whole contract submitted by the bidder on award of Work.
