To qualify for the award of the Contract, each bidder should have satisfactorily completed, in the last seven years, at least one similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost of work. Alternatively, they can have completed two similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost of works. The cost of similar work is determined by bringing the value of work executed to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of seven percent per annum. Similar work refers to any type of Repair/Erection/Fabrication Works in Hydro-Mechanical Gates/Hydraulic Hoists/Penstock. Bidders shall provide work experience in a work experiences record, supported with certificate(s) from the Engineer-in-charge/Project head of the concerned work.
