Bidders must have successfully completed similar works (residential or non-residential building works of any number of stories) within the last seven years. Options include: three similar works, each costing at least 40% of the estimated tender cost or Rs. 400 crore (whichever is less); two similar works, each costing at least 50% of the estimated tender cost or Rs. 500 crore (whichever is less); or one similar work costing at least 80% of the estimated tender cost or Rs. 800 crore (whichever is less). Experience must be supported by certificates from the client organization. For private sector work, completion certificates must include copies of the Letter of Award and corresponding TDS certificates. The value of executed works includes materials and services supplied by the client, free of cost or at a discount, which are not already included in the value of works executed on the experience certificate or Letter of Award. This exclusion must be specifically mentioned on the Letter of Award, and the value of free supplies must be separately certified by the employer or a practicing cost/chartered accountant. Work executed as a labor contract will not be considered. Foreign work experience requires certificates attested by the Indian Embassy/Consulate/High Commission; non-English certificates need a Chamber of Commerce-authenticated translation. Hague Convention members may use an Apostille stamp.
