Supply and fixing of guidance signage board (IP65 protection) complying ICAO standard of any size for shoulders of runway /Taxi track Links with supporting structure described as under:- (a) Sheet & Frame :- Fabricated box type from anodised aluminium section profile structure with 3mm thick and 6mm thick long life imported non-specular surface polycarbonate sheet, symbols of sign shall be made of shelf adhesive film applied on face of polycarbonate sheet and frame mounted to GI tubing light grade 40 mm dia 4 Nos, 1.20 m length each. Board shall be illuminated with liner LED's & driver (s) i/c all other accessories, suitable converter to operator on 2.8 Amp to 6.6 Amp AC constant current as incoming supply, mounting legs with breakable coupling & base frame , secondary leads , suitable IT Housing Box providing cement concrete foundation complete all as specified and directed.
(b) Signage board:- Retro reflective sheeting class C, 3m Diamond Grade 3 (DG3) confirming to ASTMD 4956.09 type -XI with pressure sensitive adhesive fixed to polycarbonate signage sheet and frame as per manufactures instruction. Size and shape of signs/numbers/indications & letters (size of board and letters given by users) etc, complete all as specified and directed.
(c) Signage board fixing :-PCC platform 1:2:4 Type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in pit of size 45 x 45 x 60 cm & including excavation/earthwork in any type of soil , returning filling and removal of surplus soil etc, outside runway/links complete all as specified and directed.
Note :-(i) "No Claim" shall be quoted by contractor if even is stopage of work, due to air craft coming and going.
(ii) Site availability shall be as per User's /site requirement any time in working hours.

M & L for grass cutting upto zero level along the pavement shoulders, around sign board and DTGM by Mechanically/manually and daily cutting grass removed in out side of MoD land at contractor is own arrangement at location or to be burn of with fire controlled complete all as specified and as directed.
Note :-
(i) Since the work is a safety requirement for Air Field. The entire quantity is to be executed in the 11 month period. (ii) Four No's labours & grass cutting machine (including petrol) are required in every day of the contract period except Sunday/Holiday. Otherwise market rate will be recovered from contractor for not deploying of labours and grass cutting maching (with petrol).
(iii) "No Claim" shall be quoted by contractor if even is stopage of work, due to air craft coming and going.
(iv) Site availability shall be as per User's /site requirement any time in working hours.

M&L for preparation of existing painted/unpainted surfaces on runway, dispersal & links (painting lines, dashes, arrows, threshold, touchdown point, designation letters etc) of pavements with compressed air blower 50 to 90 PSI, coir, wire brushes to remove all loose dirt, dust, grease spots or any foreign materials etc, over 10 cm in width or girth and applying a coat of water based (water thin able) acrylic road marking paint (Black/white/ golden yellow/ orange) the approved shade and pattern with black colour, border strips on either sides of other colours marking, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) The black strips on either side of other colour paint line, arrows letter, dashes shall be measured combined width wise for the purpose of calculating the area of painting. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of masking tape to protect pavement surface for spilled out of paint and removal & disposal of the same from MOD land. (iii) Painting to be carried out three times or more as per requirement in a year (measurement will be carried out each time separately).
(iv) "No Claim" shall be quoted by contractor if even is stopage of work, due to air craft coming and going.
(v) Site availability shall be as per User's /site requirement any time in working hours.
