Dismantling, extraction and retrieving of the excessively worn out M.S pipes from the 300 mm nominal dia MS Rising main by way of cutting out rusted out nuts and bolts. Job also includes minor excavation if any required at site whereever the pipes have got semi embedded. 8 no pipes of varied lengths are to be dismantled after cutting out rusted nuts/ bolts of about 16 flanged joints.

Providing and fitting of 300 mm nominal dia, 6 mm thick (with ± tolerance), mild steel ERW Pipes. The pipes shall be duly coated with steel primer and two coats of black bituminous paint. The pipes are to be fitted at the portions of the rising main where from the above pipes are to dismantled/ extracted, by way of cutting and welding work at site to align perfectly with the present alignment of the existing rising main. Extra cutting and welding if any required at site for perfect fitment and alignment as per site conditions to make the pipe line leakproof is also included in the job. Job also includes all types of handling like dragging etc from road site to actual site of execution of job through muddy and water logged terrain. All tools and tackles like welding machine, welding generator, gas cutter with gas cylenders, tripod stands and chain pulley block etc along with required lubes and fuels shall have to be provided by the firm. Job also includes testing of the rising main on full load after completion of the job.

Providing and fitting of MS Flanges of nom dia 300 mm to the above pipes by means of arc welding, using superior class welding electrodes. The thickness of the flange shall not be less than 10 mm. However other specifications of the flange shall be in match with the already fitted flanges at site with which the flanges are to be jointed. Job includes cutting of the pipes at site as required as per site conditions.
