SITC of INTERIOR ACOUSTIC WORKS

Providing and fixing Grid ceiling systems with ceiling tiles of Armstrong/Saint-Goblin/ India Gypsum or equivalent as per following specifications. Rate to include all fastening accessories with approved finishes. Ceiling tiles shall be approved make tegular edge tile s of size 600mmx600mm, of approved shade/colour. Tile shall render a NRC level of 0.5-0.6. Suspension system shall be manufacturer specific stitched exposed grid system with 24mm wide T-section flanges. Installation to comprise of main runners spaced at 1200mm centres securely fixed to the structural soffit by approved hangers at 1200mm maximum centres and not more than 150mm from spliced joints. The last hanger at the end of each main runner should not be greater than 600mm from the adjacent wall. Flush fitting1200mm long cross tees to be interlocked between main runners at 600mm centres to form 1200mmx600mm modules. Cut cross tees longer than600mm require independent support. 600mmx600mm modules to be formed by fitting 600mm long flush fitting cross tees centrally between the 1200mm cross tees. Perimeter trim to be 24mm exposed trim manufacturer specific sized wall angle of approved colour, secured to walls at 450mm maximum centres. Flush fitting1200mm long cross tees to be inter locked between mainrunnersat600mm centres to form 1200mmx600mm modules. Cut cross tees longer than 600mm require independent support. 600mmx600mm modules to be formed by fitting 600mm long flush fitting cross tees centrally between the 1200mm cross tees. Perimeter trim to be 24mm exposed trim, manufacturer specific sized wall angle of approved colour, secured to walls at 450mm maximum centres.

Painting with acrylic emulsion paint, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour with Two coats

SITC of Wall Treatment

Providing and fixing GI Gyp steel ultra-frame work for wall panelling as per design drawing consisting of floor channel of size 50x32x32 x0.5mm thick at bottom and top fixed with 35 mm nylon sleeves and 35 mm screw. Further fixing GI stud 48x34x36x0.5 mm thick @600mm C/C vertically. The framework to be filled with 50mm 1200GSM non-woven thermal bonded polyester wadding ( Make Nowofill) held in position with 18 mm GI checken mesh of 24SWG with drive all screws and oversize washers. Finally fixing over it horizontally 80x26x51x0.5 mm thick G.I. Gyp ceiling section placed @600mm C/C or wherever required as per design drawings. The frame to be fixed to the walls by means of angle holdfasts or cleats of required size complete with expandable anchor fasteners of 65x10mm dia fixed on each vertical member @1000mm C/C. The work shall be executed as per drawings, specifications & instructions of IIT Jammu officials engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing 2nd class teak wood plain lining tongued and grooved, including wooden plugs complete with necessary screws and priming coat on unexposed surface.25 mm thick. The work shall be executed as per drawings, specifications & instructions of IIT Jammu officials.

Providing and fixing IS 303 BWR commercial ply of commercial ply of required thickness for wall lining with necessary screw, priming coat on un-exposed surface complete as per drawing and direction of IIT Jammu officialss. Recommended Make: Duro, Century, Archid-ply. The ply to be fixed to the existing GI frameworks (Frameworks to be paid separately) at all heights.12mm thick commercial ply. Extra for making 18% Perforations in the 8mm ply.

Providing & fixing of PET 3D designer acoustic panels of 9mm thickness cut into sizes and jalis as per the design with 3mm acoustic Felt backing complete as per the design drawings. The panels to be gluer over the existing perforated FR ply. The PET panels to be Fire Class1. The work shall be executed as per drawings, specifications & instructions of IIT Jammu officials.

Providing & fixing at all heights on Ceiling Wood based slats laminated panels (Bollard/ Gyptec/ Versatile Acoustic) having NRC upto 0.75 with lineal perforations. The size of lineal panels is 2400 x 128x 16mm with a pitch of 16 mm. The slats to have a groove of 2mm. The back panels to have circular perforations (8-10mm) dia randomly with a non-woven fabric covering of 0.2mm. The lineal panels to have tounge & groove joints and fixing arrangements for seamless continuity. The panels to be fixed on the GI framework with impalers as per Manufacturers recommendations (The GI framework to be payable). The work to be done complete as per specifications & instructions of IIT Jammu officials.

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete. Hot finished seamless type tubes

Polishing in high gloss/matt finish melamine clear polish on wood work in required color/wooden shade texture with following process in the sequence as detailed below: 1. The surface to be polished is rubbed with sand paper 80/120 no. and then with sand paper of 160/180 nos. 2. Applying two coats of sealer with spray gun and allowing sufficient drying time for 1st coat and 2nd coat is allowed to dry for 8 to 12 hrs. 3. On drying of sealer coat, wet rubbing with emery cloth of finer grading with ample water to remove excess sealer layer and make the surface further smooth after this wet rubbing, then surface is applied with special grade melamine fillers to fill all the small and big holes/grooves etc. Filler coat to be allowed to dry for 4 to 6 hrs on which again a light wet rubbing is done this surface is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. 4. On this, 1st coat of melamine polish is applied with spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner in required proportion. This 1st coat is allowed to dry for 24 hrs then this dry surface is again fine wet rubbed smooth, which is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. The final melamine polish is applied with compressor pressure spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner mixed in required proportion complete as per direction of IIT Jammu Engineer-in-Charge. (Final coat to be done in 1 or 2 layers without gap of time.)

SITC of Flooring Work

Providing and Laying 100 % Nylon Multilevel loop pile Carpet Tiles of Wels pun/Wonder floor/Excel or Equivalent shade approved by architect in 8mm thick Quality having 100 % solution dyed, of 1/12th gauge having pile thickness of 3mm total thickness 8 mm. Pit should be antimicrobial and with soil/stain protection. Tile size 50cm x 50cm and tile backing should be of glass bac having minimum 32 % recycle content including minimum 30 % post-consumer content. Product should comply with CRI Green label plus standards. Floor carpet for inside Hall flooring which shall be free from dust completed as per Architect instruction and design/approval.

SITC of Electrical Works

Wiring for light point/ fan point/ exhaust fan point/ call bell point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable in surface / recessed medium class PVC conduit, with modular switch, modular plate, suitable GI box and earthing the point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable etc. as required.

Wiring for group (loop) light point/fan point/exhaust fan point / call bell point without switch etc.) with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable in surface/ recessed medium class PVC conduit and earthing the point with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor single core cable etc. as required .

Wiring for circuit/ sub main wiring along with earth wire with the following sizes of FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in surface/ recessed medium class PVC conduit as required. 2 X 2.5 sq. mm + 1 X 2.5 sq. mm earth wire

Supplying and fixing 25 mm dia MS flexible pipe with PVC coating along with all ancillaries and accessories like coupler etc. as required.
