Replacement of existing damaged rollers.

Fabrication of 02 no new steel made sluice Gate locks, single wall type of size 9rft x 5.5 rft by way of using of following specified steel material. i. MS Plate 6mm thick. ii. ISMC 125mm. iii. 3 to 4inch width rubber seal, 1 inch thick /suitable for the job at site. The job shall further include providing of eye holes for fixing of sluice mechanism lead screw at top. Besides the job shall include dismounting of upper structure/walkway and remounting thereof after fixing the sluice gate lock leaves by way of cutting and welding etc.

Providing & fixing of sluice gate lock mechanism capable of withstanding the load of at least 5-ton on each lock. The mechanism is of following specifications: i. Worm gear with pinion 02 nos' of 2-ton capacity / suitable for the job, made of gunmetal with OD 09 inch & 50mm thick with suitable worm pinion rod. ii. Providing & fixing of lead screw bush nuts made of gunmetal with OD 100mm, ID 50mm &100 mm long / suitable/ as per existing lead screw. iii. Sluice valve casing with rain tube 12x12.

Lubricated all lubricating spots of the gate, by way of using of AP3 Grease 05kg, HDS (Diesel) 10liters after lubrication of complete gate. Checked the performance of gated by way of moving of gate up & down complete.

Painting of all steel structure in two coats after applying two coats of red oxide. The job shall include removing of existing paint work using appropriate tools etc.

NAVIGATIONAL GATES AT RAM MUNSHI BAGH GATE, DAL GATE, NALLAH AMIR KHAN & GAW KADAL.

Safe & secure gate lowering procedure to release the stuck gate from the channel grove’s detailed as under. i, removal of worm & pinion gear shaft from the winch gear box machine. ii,holding the counter weight with necessary heavy-duty chains/chain blocks to hold the counter weight structure securely. ii, disconnecting the gate hosting rope from the counter weight & winch rolling drum. iv, lowering of gate with the help of hydraulic jacks/chain blocks to stop the water leakage/ passage from underneath of the gate. v, Providing of various specifications of steel material in welded built up sections for fabrication of brackets to hold the hydraulic jacks for applying the down loads on the gate ensuring that no water is leaking from the underneath of gate. vi, The job shall include all tools & tackles viz, heavy duty welding Genset, portable electric grinder & cutter & Gas cutter unit and all other allied tools required for the execution for the job.

Replacement of complete assembly of winch worm gear & pinion gear shaft. The Worm gear shall be made of bronze of EN-24 Series material, the job shall also include dismounting of complete winch gear box worm gears from the mechanism dismantling thereof. the job is inclusive of general overhauling/replacement of allied items involved in the job, includes all bearing & allied items to be provided & fixed as per the sample at site. besides the job shall also include general overhauling of bearing seats repairs up to the desired dia & couture complete job.

Replacement of pinion gear & rope drum gear bearings R/L sides 02 jobs, the pitch clearance between the teeth of gears shall not be more than the specified clearance. All bearings shall be provided as per the material & dimensions of existing bearing (as per sample) of reputed make & manufacturer. The job shall include dismantling & reassembling of the assembly and shall also include servicing greasing of the entire assembly.

Replacement of channel guides made of SS-410 series steel material. The job shall include removal of existing guides from the channels both right & left from gate channel fixed grooves. After fixing of guides, ensuring gate leaves are aligned with the Gate at centre of channel groove for free movement/slide of escape gate.

Replacement of roller casings of 5–6-inch width 25 rft long, 04 no of SS material (as per the sample) on fixed gate channel. The job included dismounting of existing casing remounting thereof, after dismantling & reassembling of new rollers. The job also includes overhauling of all allied spare/items involved in the mechanism.

Replacement of rollers, gunmetal bushes & centre pins/axles after removal of all damaged rollers (as per the sample). The rollers shall be removed from both R & L sides inserted in the channel grooves. The roller bearing bush's & pin, axles shall be made of SS-410 series steel material.

Provided & fixed of new multi stranded steel hoist rope 12 mm dia 45 rm approx. to the gate winch. The job included dismounted old damaged rope & all spares/items involved in the mechanism complete replacement of rope, reputed make Usha mortin.

Servicing of existing rollers fitted on gate leaves in upper & downstream, including alignment of gate rollers.

Lubricated all lubricating spots of the gate, by way of using of AP3 Grease 10kg, HDS(Diesel) 10liters & Gear oil (EP90) 15 liters after lubrication of complete gate. Checked the performance of gated by way of moving of gate up & down complete.
