Important NOTE:-
The basic principles to be followed in case of repair work shall be as:-
1. The rate contract for repair work shall not be splitted between two or more bidders so as to avoid possible inconvenience to the department.
2. The bidder who will qualify for maximum items shall be awarded the rate contract subject to the condition that he may accept the lowest rate of other items offered by any other bidder .
3. The tactics of Pool/Cartel formation which is against the basic principles of competitive bidding is an offence under the competition (amendment) Act 2007. In case of any evidence of Pool/cartel formation suitable action as warranted under rules shall be resorted to, and shall lead to rejection of bid
