Supply and Erection of Pole have octagonal cross section shall be Hot dip galvanized (BSEN10025) to 65 micron DFT & esigned to maximum wind as per IS 875 and shall be continuously tapered with single longitudinal welding. The octagonal Poles shall have door of approximate 500 mm length at the elevation of 500 to 600 mm from the Base plate. The door shall be vandal resistance and shall be weather proof to ensure safety of inside connections with cable connection arrangement. The door shall be flush with the exterior surface and shall have suitable locking arrangement. There shall also be suitable arrangement for the purpose of earthing. The pole shall be adequately strengthened at the location of the door to compensate for the loss in section. The Octagonal Poles shall be in single section (upto 8 Mtr). There shall not be any circumferential weld joint.
