The required prior work experience for the bidder is experience of having successfully completed Optical Fiber Cable Construction works. The experience can be demonstrated in two ways: (a) completion of works worth at least 90% of the estimated cost of the work put to tender during the last 5 financial years plus the subsequent period ending the month preceding the one in which the NIT is issued, or (b) completion of works worth at least 120% of the estimated cost of the work put to tender during the last 7 financial years plus the subsequent period ending the month preceding the one in which the NIT is issued. The estimated cost of the work put to tender is 2,42,02,880 rupees. Thus, the bidder should have completed works worth at least 2,18,18,392 rupees (90% of 2,42,02,880) in the last 5 years or 2,90,45,456 rupees (120% of 2,42,02,880) in the last 7 years. The experience of having successful completion of OF cable construction works is to be reckoned in terms of payment received for such works. The experience certificate for carrying out the works and amounts received should be in the prescribed pro-forma.
