Operation and maintance of water distribution system under Ridge sub division for the area mentioned below Bharari storage tank ,kelston storage tank, Jakhoo storage tank, chakkar/Ghorachowki water storage tank, Kamna Devi water storage tank, Totu water storage tank, Tutikandi storage tank, Summer hill storage tank, Advance study storage tank. Fingask storage tank , ridge storage tank and some areas which are served by 18'' API Pipeline from Sanjauli Tank (All the wards and area under Ridge Sub-division). The work includes distrbution of water to all the connections under the said area i.e. operation of keys damage/leakage/oveflow and the maintance of whole pipe line, network and all other necessary fitting such as sluice valve fitting, consumers meter fitting, bulk meter fitting and all other necessary fitting that are required in the network .The work also includes of O&M Web based Water Distribution Monitoring System (WDMS) and O&M of water ATM'S etc. Job also includes repair of leakage, major/minor along with the fitting and welding work caulking work/ push on joints etc. Leakage/ Damage repair shall be carried out with utmost effort even in odd hours and unfaviourable weather conditions in case of emergency for firm shall obtain necessary approval from concerned authority/owner in case of private/Govt./semi Govt road/ Property/ etc. For such repair all the material shall be arranged/purchased by operator. Operator shall also depute the manpower which is given in detail and justification of rates and any manpower if provided less by the operator than deduction will be made from monthly bills accordingly . In case of uncnecessary wastage of water operator shall be liable for recovery of its cost if not rectified well in time,etc. all complete as per the entire satisfaction of engineer-in charge.

Operation and maintenance of 6 Nos. water tankers 2 each of 6000 ltrs and 8000 ltrs ,2000 ltrs capacity including drivers and helpers(1.5 each for all tankers), all repairs and spares(except cost of diesel) for a period of year.

Cleaning of Ground, Under Ground Sump, Over Head RCC tanks/Pre Fabricated Tanks etc in Shimla city bi-Annunally twice a year including disposal of silt. Rubbish etc, all as per directon of Engineer-in-charge the cleaning shall consist of following operations :- 1) Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and other deposits (ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall them scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc.and pressure washed with power sprayer. (iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine (iv) The treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and all loose particles shall be removed from the surface (v) Finally the surfce shall be treated with ultravialet radiation etc. ( including the cost of DG / power connection etc. ) and disposing of malba ,debris, rubish etc. and marking / writing the date of cleaning on the side of the tank body with the help of stencil and paint, all complete as per the direction of Engineer- in- charge twice in a year.
