The bidder is required to have prior work experience, specifically a minimum of one similar work done of an amount not less than 40% of the estimated cost in the last five years. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed a minimum of one civil engineering work of an amount not less than 80% of the estimated cost in the last five years. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 5% per annum. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed, as prime contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to half of the estimated cost of work or at least one Civil Engineering work equal in value to the estimated cost of work for which the bid is invited. In terms of specific values, the estimated cost of the work is Rs. 5,77,80,051/-. The bidder should have experience of similar works with a value equal to or greater than half of the estimated cost of the work, which implies a value of at least 50% of the estimated cost. Additionally, for a Joint Venture firm, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners shall meet not less than 25% of all the qualifying criteria. The Joint Venture must also collectively satisfy the requirements of the criteria. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction works is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the financial year in which bids are received at the rate of 8 percent per year. The assessed available bid capacity should be equal to or more than the total bid value. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover on account of Civil Engineering works executed, duly certified by a Chartered Accountant, with the turnover indexed at the rate of 8% per year. The required experience is for the last five years immediately preceding the year in which the bids are invited.
