Excavation in earth work in hilly areas in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohobited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, widths, camber, super elevation and level as shown in the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specifications for Rural Road, August 2004 and clause 16.2 of general conditions for contract ot achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal dumping to be arranged by the contractor of un-suitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimentions including disposal of surplus materials with all leads and lifts at the locations specified in the tender documents or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of the stone, whether useful or not, for 315.26cum. In all cases, @ Rs. 300/-only per Cum. Shall be effected on prorta basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Hiring of JCB machine for removal of snow/slips from various sites of work with in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. Any loss to the public/private property or any accident etc. happened during the course of hiring period shall be absolute responsibility of the JCB owner which shall have to be fully compensated by him in all cases. The fuel and JCB operator and stays for JCB operator will be provided by the JCB owner. The repair and spare including watch and ward of JCB and all admissible taxes also borne by the contractor/ owner. The daily log book will be maintained at site which should be duly verified by the Engineer-in-charge.

Hiring of Tipper 5.5 cum capacity having lift system for carriage of material to different site of work with in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The tipper should work minimum 8.00 hours (Eight hours) from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. daily. Any loss to the public/ private property of any accident etc. happened during the course of hiring period shall be absolute responsibility of the owner which shall have to be fully compensated by him all cases. The fuel of the tipper driver, repair work shall have to be born by the contractor/ owner. The daily log book shall be maintained at site which should be duly verified by the Engineer-in-charge.
