Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, conglomerate roack, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 1603.1, 1603.2 and sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-serviceable material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all un-useful surplus material to required width of the road or to approved dumping sites by Engineer-in-Charge through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machinery, material, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts. A recovery of useful stone for 2.16 cum (Two point one six) cubic metre @ Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis in Ist running bill from this item. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator/breaker)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm (Thirty centimetres) in depth, 1.5 m (One point five metre) in width as well as 10 sqm(Ten square metre) on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth in all leads and lifts in ordinary rock and all kinds of soil including chiseling of hard rocks where blasting is prohibited including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and as per drawings and technical specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including all incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Excavation work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms within all leads including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within all leads and lifts ordinary rock and all kinds of soil including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and as per drawings and technical specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including all incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.
