Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all height and depths,in all kind of soil including saturated soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil,ordinary rock and hard rock.All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion,damage to hill side,water pollition,etc.and to protect stability of hill side.Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited).All earth work in cutting/excavation,including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines,grade,side slopes,width,camber,super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge,in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road,August,2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for contract to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner,trimming,filling of unevenness,blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding.The recovery of useful stone that is 2883.00 cum. in all cases,failing which recovery @ Rupees 300/= only(Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis.Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in soil in Hilly Area including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.5 m and a lead upto 20 m as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1603.1

Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material.
