Providing, laying, spreading and compacting mechanical means and compacting to 75mm (seventy five millimetre) compacted thickness, graded, broken / crushed stone aggregate, for grading-III, 53mm to 22.4 mm (fifty three millimetre to twenty two point four millimetre) nominal size to water bound Macadam, specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 (eighty - hundred) KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming crushable type -B of size 11.2 mm (eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate of 0.18 cum (zero eighteen cubic metre) per ten square metre and binding material at the rate of 0.06 cum ( zero point zero six cubic metre ) to fill up the interstoces of coarse aggregate , watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD technical specifications clause 405 or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royalty, Malkhana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) slow setting-I on the prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer @ 0.85kg (Zero point eighty five Kilogram) per square meter of road surface using bitumen emulsion pressure distributor complete, as per MORD technical specifications clause 502 or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royalty, Malkhana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all type of structure such as R/wall and B/wall , culvert and drain etc. depths as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 305 & 1603.4 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, filling of unevenness blind age and finishing the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion, bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.
