Excavation in soil in hilly area by machanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposal of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.50mtr. And a lead upto 20.00 mtr. as per technical specification Clause 1603.1. ( one six zero three point one) and MORD specification including carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location of site through all modes of transportations in all lead, lift and all incidental charges. all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erossions, damage to hill side, water pollutions etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock work shall be executed with chiseling, wedging out rock, where blasting is prohibited).All earth work in excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevations and leyels as shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable site and safe disposal of unserviceable cut material in specified manners, trimming, filling of unevenness blindages and finishing of the road to specified dimensions as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other cases, it shall be removed by the suitable diversion, bailing out or dewatering as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of execution shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost of all cases.

Excavation in hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by machanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposal of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.50mtr. And a lead upto 20.00 mtr. as per technical specification Clause 1603.2 and MORD specification including carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location of site through all modes of transportations in all lead, lift and all incidental charges. All earth work in cutting / excavation , including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades , side slopes, width, chamber, super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in - Charges, in conformity with the requirement of techanical specification for Rural Road, August 2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation wodth including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut matereial inspecified manner,tremming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as dirrected by the Engineer-in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of useful stone that is 472.50 cubic meter in all cases falling which recovery @ Rupees 300/- only (Rupees three hundereed only) per cubic metre shall be effected on prorata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earthwork in excavation for all type of road structures such as retaining wall, breast wall and parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiesling / wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibeted) as per drawing and technical specification true to lines and grades. Dimesions and other particulars as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 305.1(Three hundred Five point One) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable excavated materials in specified manners to dumping site (to be arranged by the contractor) including trimming, dressing of sides and bottom, filling of unevenness blindages, backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
