Providing and fixing false ceiling at all heights, including the framework made of special section, power-pressed from M.S. sheets and galvanized with zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm (both sides inclusive) as per IS: 277. The framework consists of an angle cleat of size 25mm wide x 1.6mm thick with flanges of 27mm and 37mm, spaced at 1200mm c/c, one flange fixed to the ceiling with dash fasteners (12.5mm dia x 50mm long) and 6mm dia bolts. The other flange of the cleat is fixed to the angle hangers (25 x 10 x 0.50mm) of the required length with nuts and bolts of the required size. The other end of the angle hanger is fixed to intermediate G.I. channels (45 x 15 x 0.90mm) running at a spacing of 1200mm c/c. The ceiling section (0.5mm thick, bottom wedge of 80mm) with tapered flanges of 26mm each and lips of 10.5mm is fixed perpendicular to the G.I. intermediate channel, with connecting clips made from 2.64mm dia x 230mm long G.I. wire at every junction. Perimeter channels (0.50mm thick, 27mm high, with flanges of 20mm and 30mm) are fixed at the perimeter of the ceiling to the wall/partitions using Rawl plugs at 450mm intervals and 25mm long drywall screws at 230mm intervals. The Calcium Silicate Board is fixed to the ceiling section and perimeter channels using drywall screws (3.5mm x 25mm) at 230mm c/c. Jointing and finishing include a flush finish of tapered and square edges with jointing compounds, jointing tapes, and finishing with three layers of jointing compounds covering up to 150mm on both sides of the joints. Two coats of primer suitable for boards are applied, as per the manufacturer's specifications. The cost includes making openings for light fittings, grills, diffusers, and cut-outs with frames of perimeter channels suitably fixed, as per drawings, specifications, and the direction of the Engineer in charge, but excluding the cost of painting. The Calcium Silicate Board is 8mm thick, made with Calcareous and Siliceous materials reinforced with cellulose fiber and manufactured through the autoclaving process.
