The MS flanges shall conform to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in two layers (two inner and one outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets conforming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe will include all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees etc including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards and the damaged portion of the pipes and specials made form the parent tube during welding or otherwise shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani/Oerlikon/L and T or ISI marked make. The rates also include entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction and directin of Engineer-in-charge with in all leads and lifts. AUTOMATION OF THE ENTIRE SYSTEM:- The tenderer/firm shall provide two alternative proposals for automation (Wired/Non wired) i.e. (i) To automize the entire scheme up to Main storage tank at Briumli. The plan of the whole scheme for automation is also to be prepared by the firm, the cost of which has been included in the relevant items. Provision of automation of complete project with main SCADA and control station at one treatment plant at Dug including Pump House with remote access at Division Chamba and Sub Division office at udaipur. GSM based devices shall be installed at MBR Node-20, which shall send messages through SCADA to stations at two offices and five Mobile Numbers. This data transmission system at each tank of pump station consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system module communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The firm/contractor will provide the Bulk metering at Water Treatment Plants. The automation of the entire scheme upto main storage tank shall also include the following:- Provision shall be kept for automatic flow measurement and flow control with quality measurement turbidity. b)Water Treatment Plant at Silla Khad:- Fully automatized operation including alum dosing and back washing and chlorination from inlet to out let along with automatic sensor for Turbidity, pH and Residual chlorine) Storage Water Tanks at lifting station:-Automatic Inlet and Out Let through single out flow pipe (common header), Low and high level sensor along with all required accessories) Leakage detection mechanism along with necessary relevant provisions complete in all respect be provided. A separate room of proper size for housing automation system shall be provided at each station. It should also include telecommunication comprising of required numbers of connections as per actual requirement at site. The automation system installed at above/aforesaid locations should be theft proof and proper ventilation arrangements be made complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in Charge . the firm/contactor shall submit complete proposal for automation and got approved from competent authority ,alone with presentation before award of project. g)The make of Sluice valve shall be Kriloskar/Leader/KSB. The makes for Electrical actuator for automatic valves shall be Marsh/Auma/Rotex . The make for PLC shall be Siemens/Allen Bradly. The make for ultra Sonic level sensors shall be ABB/Siemens/Eand H/Fobes Mrshal.
