Supplying and errection of horizontal spindle horizontal/radial split casing and suctions (back full out arrangement) single/double/ multistage centrifugal pumps or combination of pump in series of recommended make such as Mather and Platt /KSB/Kirloskar/Jyoti/BE/MAX flow/Beacon weir make conforming to as per BIS 1520-1980 ( latest edition with up to date amendments), read with BIS 9137-1978 ( latest edition with up to date amendments), read with BIS 9137-1978 ( latest edition) suitable for lifting raw water of under mentioned characteristics with impelters of bronze/ suitable alloy, impellers/priming funnels, casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze/suitable alloy, shaft of steel grade with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a common C.I/Cast steel base plate ( base plate to be from the Principle manufacturers of the pumping set to slipper in/ Squirrel Caze screen protected drip proof electric induction motor of Kirloskar/Crompton/NGEF/Siemens/Jyoti/BHEL/GEC/ABB conforming to BIS 325-1978 read with BIS 900-1965 (Latest with upto date ammendments) It should include the cost of bearing a nuts and bolts, painting etc and shall be suitable for operation as per detail given below

(A) Site conditions i) Location of site- The site is located at a distance of 144 kms from Pathankot ii) The altitude of place in which the motor is intended- Altitude of place 1000 above MSL. iii) Type of Current- AC three phase supply with frequency of 50 cycles per sec. iv) Rated Voltage- 415 V-10 percent v) Type of water-Raw water vi) Characteristics of water- Temp 20 C, Turbidity 70 NTU, Alkalinity 60 Mg/caco3, pH-7 to 8, others, Total solids. Mg/lit. vii) Depth of well- (+ve suction) viii) LWL in well sump well-1370 mtrs. ix) Max. draw down-mtrs x) Center line level of pump-1367 mtrs. xi) discharge level of highest point-1510 mtrs xii) No. of pump required- 2 nos 30 Hp each xiii) capacity-8.21 lps for each pump xiv) static head in mtrs=140 meters xv) total head in meters- 148.69 meters xvi) length of rising main-150 mm dia GI pipe (M) xviii) No of pumping Hrs. per day-20 xix) limits of pump operation-(-)15 per. to (+) 10 per of total head xx) HP of motor drive unit- required BHP of pump at (+) 10 per and (-)15 per of total head of BHP with following margins multipying factor at duty point. whichever is higher a) upto 2 HP=1.5 b) 2 to 5 HP=1.4 c) 5 to 10 HP=1.3 d)10 to 20 HP=1.2 e)20 to 100 HP=1.15 f) above 100 HP 1.10 xxi) RPM of pumping sets- 2900 rpm ( to be quoted by tenderer) xxii) Test Run- 18 hrs. continueously for 7 days.

Supply of digital soft starter of Allen Bradely/Schnider /ABB of reputed make of havey duty application rating 15 to 500 Ampere/ constant current / torque control starting from comprehensive motor protection with large LCD key pad mounted on panel board and built in rear time clock complete suitable for above motor starter.
