OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SCHEME FOR 3YEARS:- Operation and maintenance of scheme from source to main/sector storage tank /gravity main., distribution mains, rising main etc. and to keep all structure /machinery/ facility to proper working O&M includes the regular i.e daily supply of designed /required quantity of potable water having water quality as per of water supply to the beneficiaries of the scheme up to main storage /delivery at tank from above mentioned source to main/ sector stage tanks at different location as per planc and repair and maintenance of main lines, gravity lines and entire distribution mains of scheme , regular maintenance of all the facilities i/c cleaning, washing oil and greasing repair , replacement of worn-out/ damaged parts of pumping machinery, pipe lines valves and electrical mechanical requirements regular cleaning of all structure like collection tank, storage tank, pump house etc. and disposal of same as per the direction of Engineer in Charge Fixing repairing /leakage in civil structure pipe line, pumping machinery etc. proper distribution of treated water and regular testing of water samples . Maintaining log book of running of pumping machinery register for sample reports and consumption of chemicals. Keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality , repair and maintenance work chemical dosing and time and hours of run of pumping machinery , removed of all kind of slips, slush, up-rooting of unwanted grass, shrub, weeds etc. growing near the structure and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of engineer-in-Charge. Planting and maintenance plant of flowers / trees around the pump house storage tank etc. as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge i/c the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants, skilled and unskilled manpower, spare parts, oil /grease/ lubricants, chemicals for water treatment and all kinds of regents required for water sample testing and making standby arrangement all times, instrument, equipments, stationery and any other material etc. required for O &M excluding the cost of energy charges . all the operation shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO manual of the water supply and treatment ( latest addition ) HP PWD/JSV specification HP & JSV norms direction issued by the Engineer-in-Charge from time to time and sound engineering practice. (Refer to Data Sheet No.9 for further details.).
