Repair & providing HVOF Coating on (1) No. Tip linear and (1) one no. spare of 3x40MW Bhaba HEP. Prior to start of work existing HVOF Coating will have to be removed from the surface by the process of sand blasting and under cut upto 1mm thickness of kinear and spears. After repair spear should fit properly on needle stem of nozzle assembly. Remove all the pitting , damage portion by undercut , grinding and then deposition through build up specified electrodes (SS410 NiMO) Providing HVOF coating of 01 No. linear and 01 No. Spears of 3x40 MW Bhaba HEP . The HVOF system to be used should be capable of spraying Tungsten carbide powder with following properties :- 1Porosity less then 1% . Bond strength of more than 10,000 psi. Surface finish - better than 6Ra. The Coatinf thickness shall be 250-300 microns. Hardness of more than 1100VHN. The bidder should use tungsten carbide powder with A typical composition of WC- 86% , Co-1% and Cr-4% by weight.Test certificate to be finished.
