Preparation of DPR for Proposed Project Roads

1.1 ) Preparation and submission of preliminary/inception report for project roads proposed in 4 no. HEPs i.e. Sai Kothi-I (15MW), Sai Kothi-II (18MW), Devi Kothi (16MW) and Hail (18MW) after review of project DPRs, conducting preliminary survey and site investigations describing therein the alternate alignments, explaining merits and demerits of various alternatives, considering and suggesting the best option from length, protection works, cross drainage works and soil erosion perspective complete as per scope in the tender document and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 1.2) Preparation and submission of Detailed Project Report for project roads proposed in 4 no. HEPs i.e. Sai Kothi-I (15MW), Sai Kothi-II (18MW), Devi Kothi (16MW) and Hail (18MW) complete as per the scope of work in the tender document and submission of 1 (one) printed copy alongwith soft copies as draft report and 3 (three) printed copies alongwith soft copies after finalisation and approval of Engineer- in- Charge covering the various topics/Chapters and contents as per the IRC-SP-48 " Hill Road Manual" and including the detailed estimate (Roadwise), Rate analysis of various items, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specification of various items in the BOQ complete as per the survey and investigation carried out at sites and the proposals so worked out and detailed geometrical and structural design of various elements/ components as per the items listed below:- 1.2.1) Carrying out topographical survey with digital total station taking reference of the existing bench marks at site established during Preparation of the Project DPRs or establishing the bench marks and control points with DGPS for 30m wide strip at straight/ slight curve portion and 60m at sharp curves, Longitudinal levels and X-section at every 20-25m and at points of abrupt change in slope and soil classification, recording the various topograhical features, land acquired by HPSEBL for construction of all proposed roads, existing roads, power lines, trees, houses, natural water sources etc. complete to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in Charge. 1.2.2) Conducting construction material survey for availablity of adequate quantities of different material, finalising the quarry sites/ location of existing nearby crushers, borrowpits, dumping sites and to take account of the same in the rate analysis complete to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in Charge. 1.2.3) Carrying out the detailed design and drawing works for Geometrical design viz. horizontal and vertical alignment, x-sectional elements, pavement design, X-drainage works, slope protection and soil erosion works complete conforming to the relevant IS/IRC standards and depicting the same in drawings in suitable scale on A3 paper size and submitting the requisite sets to the approval of Engineer-in-Charge complete as per the scope of work in the tender document. 1.2.4) Digitisation of the land acquired by HPSEBL for proposed roads in the drawings to be prepared by the consultant under this work duly depicting the Khasra no. and owners detail as per revenue maps to be provided by HPSEBL 1.2.5) Carrying out Geotechnical and Geological investigation viz. field and lab tests as per the requirements and test procedure in the relevant IS/IRC codes as per scope of work in the tender document.
