The bidder is required to have completed civil engineering works, with the maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last 5 years taken into account. The value is updated to the current price level at a simple rate of 7 percent per year. A minimum of 90% completion of the award amount, including unpaid amounts due to lack of funds, is considered as completed work. For building and road works, the bidder should employ a qualified Engineer/Junior Engineer/Supervisor having experience of five years. For sanitary and Water Supply Works, the contractor shall employ a qualified Junior Engineer with an experience of not less than five years, out of which at least one year should be in Sanitary Engineering or Water Supply Works when the tendered costs of work to be executed is more than Rs. 25,000. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, but the bidder needs to provide the value of existing commitments and ongoing works, along with the stipulated period of completion remaining for each work.
