Providing and welding M.S. flanges at suitable points to be provided 5% of total joint and remaining 95% joints with butt welded joint, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Latest with upto date amendments) with plain end GMS/GMSERW pipe in requsite ( minimum three) number of layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof. The welding of flanges should confirm to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1369-1967 including cost of gasket sheet, nuts & bolts. The thickness of gasket sheet not less then 3.00 mm confirming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satifaction of engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.

Providing circumferencial Butt welded joints by electrical arc welding to GMS/MSERW pipe, welded in requisite number of weld runs so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS: 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.50 mm to 6.30 mm of Advani , Oerlikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ESAB make conforming to IS:814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing double flanged Cast Steel Sluice valve 65 mm dia Class ASA 150 of Leader/ Kirloskar/ KSB make and capable of with standing 21 Kg/cm2 normal seat pressure conforming to BS:1414/API-600 or latest ammendments with in all leads and lifts.

Providing and fixing double flanged Cast Steel Reflux valve 65 mm dia Class ASA 150 of Leader/ Kirloskar/ KSB make for rising main and capable of with standing 21 Kg/cm2 normal seat pressure conforming to BS:1868/API-600 or latest ammendments.

PUMPING MACHINERY BOOSTER STAGE Providing/Installation, erection, testing and commissioning of star rated energy efficient Mono Submersible pumping set of KSB/Calama/ Johnston/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code . The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900 RPM or as per manufacturer's specifications of reputed make confirming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge NRV & Sluice valves of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge.

Providing and Installation of suitable direct on line of MEI/Kilburn make starter confirming to BIS 8544 -1979 latest with upto date amendments for electric induction motor mounted on panel board with magnetic type over load release and dashpot, time lag, under voltage release with initial oil filing of suitable capacity.

Providing and fixing of 32 mm square type auto electric A.C. supply voltmeter of AE/L&T /Rishab make of 0-500 volts range with selector switches confirming to BIS: 4064-1978 with up to date amendments.

Providing and fixing of ICTP switches with HRC fuses of L&T/ Crompton /Havells make for required motor of suitable capacity as per IS: 4064-1978 with up to date amendments.

Providing and fixing of Bus bar chamber having 3 core copper bars of suitable rating for full length of three phase and one bar of half the rating of full length for neutral confirming to BIS 8064-1976 and 11353-1985 read with 5578-1985- latest with up to date ammendments .

Providing and fixing of MCB of Havell/MDS/ Kilburn Jyoti make of suitable capacity on incoming feeder with initial oil filling as per IS: 2516-1985 latest with up to date amendments with neutral linked under voltage release.

Providing and fixing Three phase indicator lamps complete with toggle switches for individual motors as per IS: 3452 ( P-I&II) with up to date amendments of 15 watts.

Providing and fixing double flanged Cast iron swing check type reflux valve one dia higher than pump delivery of Leader/Kirloskar/Kartar make class PN 1.0 and capable of withstanding the normal seat pressure of 10.20 Kg/cm2 as per BIS: 5312-1984 Part I with up to date amendments.

Providing and fixing of PVC joint less flat water proof cable as per BIS 694-1990 latest with up to date amendments suitable for the pump sets offered from MCB to motor including all other electrical equipments/ accessories such as thimbles, flexible pipe solder, nuts and bolts, cable glands etc. laid in pipes of trenches under floor. The type, size and make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities & in case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities same shall be replaced by the bidder.

Providing and Laying double loop earthing with copper plate complete with material such as thimbles, nuts and bolts, charcoal and common salt, 25mmx3mm copper strips, digging of pits & G.I. wire as per IS: 3043-1987 with up to date amendments for motors and other electrical equipments and digging of pits etc. complete in all respect.

Providing and fixing 100 mm dia. circular dial pressure gauge of Fiebig make complete with all accessories such as stop cock, copper tubing etc. as per IS: 3624-1987 with up to date amendments range 0-16 Kg/cm2

Providing and laying delivery pipe 100 mm dia and common header 100 mm dia GMS tubes Medium class as per IS 1239-1979 jointed with MS flanges of table 17 as per IS 6392-1971 up to a length of 20 metres including rappers, flanges, rubber gaskets, nuts and bolts bends ,tees reducers/ increasers with companion flanges matching with the relevant specifications up to 5 metre away from the outer wall of pump houses. The pipes shall be as per relevant IS Code and to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No.1.

Providing and fixing of floor/ wall mounted power factor shunk capacitor of L&T/Bajaj/Assian/Crompton make as per IS:2834-1986 with up to date amendments to raise the power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connections to induction motor individually of required KVAR rating according to HP offered including cables as per relevant ISI code of Siemens/Gloster/IEC make) from bus bar chamber to capacitor and also including ICTP switches of appropriate range as per IS: 4064-1978 with upto date amendments .

IST STAGE Providing & Installation of horiontal spindle horizontal split casing / end suctions (back pull out arrangement ) single /double/multistage centrifugal pump or combination of pump in series of Mather and Platt / KSB/Kirloskar / Crompton / BS make as per BIS 1520-1980 with up to date amendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting clear water . The pump should be fitted with bronze impellers of suitable alloys, priming funnels , casing rings, shaft sleeves of bronze, shaft of steel grade EN-8 with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on MS/ Cast steel base plate ( base plate to be provided from the manufacturer,s of the pumping unit only) to slippering type drip proof induction motor of standard make such as Kirloskar/Crompton/ BHEL confirming to BIS 9238-1979 latest with up to date amendments and suitable for operation on 400 (+/-) 10% volts, 50 cycles / second, three phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor should be atleast 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump in the operation range of + 10% and - 15% of the duty point head. The motor should be as per IS 325-1978 with up to date amendments.The pump set should suitable for operation on data given below:-

Providing , fixing testing and successfully comissioning of floor mounted soft starter suitable for the pumping machinery of Crompoton Greaves / Siemens / L& T / ABB/ Allen Bradley duly certified by CE/UL/CSA suitable for motor operating in 200-480 VAC 3 phase Ambient temperature 25 degree to 60 degree cel. Ramp up time 0-20 second . inbuilt by pass system duly certified by CE/UL/CSA fully programmable including panel board with accessories and MCCB of reputed make with Ammeter,Voltmeter meter push button and single phase preventor complete. All digital display connected with motor etc. and all other connections needed to make the motor pump run successfully all as per the direction of Engineer in charge complete in all respects. The equipment supplied should be compatible / upgradable for use in future automization of the scheme with below mentioned technical specifications of soft panel / soft starter providing and fixing in position at site these accessories complete in all respect in all leads and lifts and carriage of material.

The pipes shall be as per relevant IS Code and to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated.The size of various components are as under:-
