Pump House:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of Pump House & Chowkidar Room near WTP including all allied Civil Works, Electrical works, internal lighting, Sanitay work, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls (3 mtr from the edge of each structure), Toilets, Septic Tanks, External Solar powered Street lighting, External landscaping, Fire Fighting arrangement, Gantry Crane of 5 tonne capacity, dewatering etc complete as directed by engineer in charge The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.The location of pumphouse is near WTP Note:- (Refer Data Sheet No. 4)

Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning R.C.C. Underground/ Elevated Circular Over head storage tanks as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in all kinds and types of strata, soil strata including dewatering in M30 design mix in foundation, walls, bottom slab , roof slab/dome with smooth finishing in 1:3 inside the tank, all alied Civil Works, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipeproper manifiold at outlet including all fittings, bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as SS ladders inside and MS outside ventilator with mosquito proof wire mesh,lightening arrester complete ,SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code with all latest revisions. The cost of valves & other accessories shall be included in the rates of tanks . Boundary Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.The work shall include supplying of Five sets of structural design after testing the bearing capcity of soil and drawings, etc complete as directed by engineer in charge as per relevent data sheet and scope of work. PUMPING MACHINERY SUBMERSIBLE :-Supply of star rated enrgy efficient Submersible pumping set of KSB/Calama/ WPIL/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:1976. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Raw water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge NRV & Sluice valves of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge. (Ist stage) For detailed design parameters/ requirements are given in Below. ( Refer to Data Sheet No.6(i))

PUMPING MACHINERY CENTRIFUGAL :- Supply ,Installation ,Testing & Commissioning of star rated enrgy efficient horizontal spindle, horizontal/ radial split casing/end suctions (back pull out arrangement)single/double/multistage centrifugal pump suitable for operation, in parallel of recommended make such as Mather and platt/KSB/Kirloskar/Jyoti /Beaconweir BS&BE confirming to BIS-1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting clear water for under mentioned characteristics with bronze/Bronze impellers, priming funnels, casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze/ steel, shaft of SS:410/AIS 1431 Chrom in plated with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a Common MS base plate to squirrel cage TEFC/CACA energy efficient motors of standard make such as Kirloskar/BHEL/ Crompton/NGEF/GEC/Siemens/ Jyoti/Area Brown Boven/ABB/CGL The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. The motor/motors should be as per IS: 325-1978 with upto date amendments read with IS:900-1972.. ( Refer to Data Sheet No.6(ii))

STAGE-1ST (To lift clear/treated water from pump house to Main storage Tank at Baijnath):- Discharge of each working pump = 25.25 LPS and Total Head= 240.47 Mtrs. (Type of Pumps - Centrifugal = 3 No. (2W+1S).

STAGE-2nd (To lift clear/treated water from pump house to Main storage at Paprola):- Discharge of each working pump = 13.02 LPS and Total Head= 191.75 Mtrs. (Type of Pumps - Centrifugal = 3 No. (2W+1S).

Rising Main, Gravity Main & Distribution System (Refer to Data Sheet No-7 to 8) Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration, unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of mild steel electrically resistance welded steel flanged pipes(MSERW) with 6% flanged joints and remaining 94% with butt welding including cost of bends complete conforming to ISO:IS:3183-2007 as per dimensions weight and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4m-7m, The M.S. flanges are to be provided 6% of total joints as per table below conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges with pipes as per IS: 816-1965 with a electrode as per IS: 814-1967 including required Nos. and size of M.S. nut and bolts as per IS: 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fiber jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 2712-1965. The welding of flanges to be done on two layers on outer face and one layers on inner face to make the joints leak proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The laying of pipes should be conformed to IS: 5822-1994 (earth work in trenches & the cost of providing flanges i/c nut & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately). The pipe shall have zinc coating as per IS:4736 latest with upto date ammendments with in all leads and lifts complete in all respect.The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing, D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.

Providing ,Laying, jointing & testing of GMS pipe as per IS1239 with upto date amendments (plain ended pipe) with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding (94% welding and 6%flanged joint ) with minimum two layers capable to withstand required test pressure (minimum welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers/ tapers, all short pieces, bends of required degrees as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also include intermediate flanged joints spaced at an interval of 16 pipe lengths or where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge duly welded in three layers (two for outer & one on inner side) and all other operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc , lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nut & bolts, gasket will be measured and paid for separately).The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The damaged portion of the pipes and all the specials ( If damaged during laying & jointing operation of pipe) made form the parent tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint over a priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing, D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.

Automation of the Entire Project:- The tenderer/firm shall provide proposal for automation which comprises of (i) 1 Intake arrangement (ii) WTP OF 4.50MLD capacity (iii) 1 Nos Pump house (iv) 2 Nos Main Balancing Reservoir (v) 17 Nos Sector Storage tank (vi) Providing and fixing various actuated valves of relevent class and dia as per relevant Data Sheet and technical specification shall be provided in all storage reservoirs at outlets and shall be automated in such a way that these are automattically operated at pre fixed hours/ time or any other logic decided by the department and operated from main SCADA centre at left Bank of Binwa Khad Pump house. Electromagnetic flow meters of approved makes shall be provided at each storage reservoir outlets and its output in the shape of total quantum of water delivered in a hour day and month shall be generated at main control station. GSM based devices shall be installed at each tank location, which shall send massages through SCADA station at remote access location at sub division office Baijnath. This data transmission system at each tank consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system modle communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. At each tank locations controlling devices shall be installed with water meter sensors, flow transmitters, level transmitters in each tank. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The firm has to submit detailed automation proposal incorporating all the hardware involved owing to above mentioned scope in the technical bid. The detailed automation proposal shall be got approved by the firm from CE Dharamshala . Firm has to incorporate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the department in the SCADA. The makes of Sluice valves shall be Kirloskar/Leader/KSB. The makes for Electrical actuators for automatic valves shall be Marsh/Auma/Rotex. The make for PLC shall be Siemens/Allen Bradly. The makes for Ultra Sonic level sensers shall be ABB/Siemens/E&H/Fobes Marshal. The makes for EM Flow meters shall be of Krohne Marshall/Siemens/ABB/SBEM/George Fishers/E&H.To automised the entire scheme up to junction points of all storage tanks and in data sheet no 9 &10 (Decision for finalisation of proposal lies with the department without assigning any reason) Refer Vol-II Technical specification & Data sheet No.:-9)

Gaseous Chlorination alongwith Prefabricated Structure at MBR 1 & 2:- Supplying,errection and commissioning of gaseous chlorination plant at Main Storage Tank Baijnath and Paprola complete in all respect having chlorinator capable to deliver 0-2500 gm/hr of chlorine gas along with 2 No sets of 1W+1S Booster pump set of approved make with electric motor and 2 No sets of 1W+1S water piping from water main to booster pump . It shall also consist of chlorine gas cylinder 100 Kg capacity duly approved by CCE Nagpur and filled with chlorine gas 1 No at each along with chlorine analyzer to indicate chlorine contant level in the chlorinated water to supply. The contractor/firm shall also supply accessories/spares such as Multipurpose cylinder key--1No,lead washers-6No,Ejector Gasket-2sets,Hose Clips-4No,Ammonia Bottle-50ml-1No alongwith safety items covering chlorine leak emergency kit, self contained breathing apparatus, Eye-shower for each unit alongwith providing and installation of 50mm thick 2 Nos Aerocon Panel Prefabricated Structure size 10x9ft made out of ligh weight concrete core composed of portland cement, binders, siliceous & micaceous material aggregare with Tongue & Groove arrangement including one coat of primer and one coat of enamal paint for prefab structure including trusses parting, coloumn etc. with galvalume roofing sheet of Jindal or equivalent make of 0.50 mm thick. The prefetricated rooms should have MS door frame of 30mm flush door and aluminium sliding windows with frame glass 4mm thick safty rods and shutter including mosquito mesh. The structure should have electrical wining (Anchor) with swiches, sockets & Boards and other necessary fitting complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge.complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.(Refer Data Sheet No:-10 for further details.)

Pipe network for Fire hydrants (Refer Data Sheet No:-11 for further details.)

Providing , laying, jointing & testing GI pipe with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding ( welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) GI flanged pipes after every 100 mtr of pipe of following diameter .Conforming to IS 1239-2011 (Part-II), having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and febrication of reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The MS Flange are to be provide 6% of total joint and remaining 94% joint with butt welded joint as detailed below (Earth work in trenches and the the cost of providing flanges i/c Nut & bolts welding of flanges gasket will be measured and paid separetaly). and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of tees i.e. lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. Providing and welding MS flanges 6% joint flange confirming to following table as per IS 6392-1971 (latest with upto date ammendments) withe plain end end MSERW pipe/GI pipe by two layer outer face and one layer in inner face to make the joint leak proof ( the cost of providing & laying of MSERW/GI pipe and butt welding joint to be measured and paid for saparetaly). The weldeding of flange should be confiming to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-2004 and required Numbers of nuts and bolts conmfriming to IS :1364. with i/c cost of gasket sheet nut and bolts the thickness of gasket sheet not less than 3mm thick confirming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done to the entire satisfaction of E-in-charge within all leads and lifts. (i) 65mm dia (Flange Table- 5)

Providing and fixing of Brass Spindle Fire Hydrants with 65mm outlet as per moderate fire safety measures for Hilly areas, complete hydrant with all fittings as required for proper functioning of Fire Hydrant within all leads and lifts as per statisfection and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
