Providing, laying, fixing, jointing and testing in trenches of MSERW pipe (Zinc coated) circumferential butt welded pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO:3183-2007 with steel grade L-210 of latest edition or having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube.The M.S. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees, etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736 -1986 (with up to date amendments). The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The tolerance in thickness and mass/weight of pipe will be accepted as per relevant BIS code. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing ,DP test of butt welded joint complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing M.S. Flanges i/c nuts& Bolts ,Welding of flanges,gasket will be measured and paid for seperately.

Regular maintenance of all the facilities including cleaning , washing, oiling and greasing repairs, replacement of worn out/damaged parts of pumping machinery, pipe line, valves and electrical, Mechanical equipments, regular cleaning of all structure like Storage tanks, Percolation wells,collection/distribution chambers, pump houses etc and disposal of same as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge, fixing/repairing leakage in civil structures, channels, pipe lines, pumping machinery etc. proper disinfection of treated water and regular testing of water samples at required stages of treatment and lift, keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality, time and hour of run of pumping machinery, repair and maintenance of all works,removal of all kind of slips, slush, up rooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc. growing near the structures and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, planting and maintaining plants/flowers/trees around the pump house , Over Head storage tanks/Intake/ Tube well etc. as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants, skilled and unskilled manpower, spare parts, oil/grease/lubricants, chemicals (Except bleaching powder) instruments, equipments, stationery and any other material etc. required for O&M excluding the cost of energy charges. All the operation shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment (latest addition) HP PWD/IPH specification, HP & IPH departmental norms, directions issued by Engineer-in-Charge from time to time and sound Engineering practice.
