Fencing with angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of barbed wire weighing 9.38kg per 100m (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn buckles etc. complete. (Cost of posts, struts, earth work and concrete work to be paid for separately). Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used. (Horizontal wire in six rows distance between each row is 0.30m).

Applying Priming coat with ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanized iron /steelwork.

*Financial bid should only be submitted in BOQ (Financial Cover) and rates of other items be quoted in Uploaded PDF File in (Financial Cover) only in hptenders.gov.in, Annual Maintenance Contract Firm should also give the comprehensive maintenance contract of fencing after the expiry of the warranty period. This will include ratification/replacement of defective, damaged and broken components. NOTE: i) All above types of fencing will be installed in 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh. ii) Rates should be quoted F.O.R. destination including packing, forwarding, loading, unloading transportation charges and all taxes, duties etc. iii) Bidders should quote the rates of each item for every fencing unit to consolidate the cost indicating make and name of outsource company of each items. iv) Work is to be executed on turn-key basis. v) Bidders should have the experience of similar works in Government, semi- Government and Public Sector Undertaking. Copy of the supply orders/work orders may be enclosed along with the offer. vi) Bidders will be responsible to educate the farm staff for efficient and effective operation of the system. vii) Firm should have sound financial track record. viii) These are the approx. quantity of the material required for fencing. ix) The quantity can be increased or decreased and payment will be made after the Confirmation from the farm about the actual fitment. x) Bidders are also required to submit the estimated cost price schedule for different sites separately. xi) Rates may be quoted keeping in view that carriage of material will be borne by the companies up to nearest road head point i.e. Katchha or Pucca and head load if any will be borne by the beneficiary.
