Earth Work:- Cutting in earth work in (70% Machanical & 30% by Manual) in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is probhibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required, setting out to required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and diected by the Engineer-in-charge at site, & according to the HP P.W.D specification of 1990 and sorting out useful materials such as stones, shingles aggregate etc shall be stacked at site to the maximum possible extent and dispoal of execavated/unservicable materials by mechanical Transport up to dumping site of work Which to be arranged by the contractor at his own level and shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and directed by the Engineer-in-charge at site, including lifts and carriage of materials, complete in all respect of as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.
