The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience of similar works during the last seven years up to the date of submission of bid. This can be either: - Three similar works each with a capacity of not less than 7 MLD, - Two similar works each with a capacity of not less than 9 MLD, - One similar work with a capacity of not less than 15 MLD. Alternatively, for a different type of tender, the experience can be: - Three similar works each with a capacity of not less than 12 MLD, - Two similar works each costing not less than 15 MLD, - One similar work costing not less than 24 MLD. For Ultra filtration (UF) plant, the experience includes design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction of a 15 MLD plant. The works may have been executed by the bidder as Prime contractor or as a member of Joint Venture, with the experience evaluated in proportion to their participation. The value of similar works is updated to the price level of the last financial year at the rate of 8% per year compounded yearly. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 95% completed. No specific detailed monetary values are mentioned for similar works completed, but the bidder's net worth shall not be less than 15% of the estimated cost of the tender.
