Providing & fixing vitrified tiles of size 600mm x 600mm of approved make in flooring, laid in any pattern as specified over base of 20 mm thickcement coarse sandmortar 1:3 and jointed with white cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles. Note : Tile shall be of premium quality (first quality) of reputed manufacturer like:- NITCO, KAJARIA, SOMANI, JOHNSONS & JOHNSONS, ORIENT (HSR 14.89).

12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (HSR 15.6)

Cement Pointing 1:2 flush on flat brick flooring (HSR 15.71)

Providing and Applying priming coat with cement primer in all shades on newly plastered or concrete exterior surface. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.25).

Painting two coats with plastic emulsion paint on walls on new work to give an even shade (HSR 16.30)

Providing and applying two coats white cement based putty over plastered surface and grindling the surface smooth with sand paper to get an even and smooth finish including cost and carriage of all material, labour charges, scaffolding, sundries etc. complete. (Note:- reputed make Putty such as J.K./ Birla shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.81).

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :-Note: All quantities of the below materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Bricks 4944 Nos @ 4.00/- Each
