Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade-1) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.502. (N.S.)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No. 503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing & laying 75mm DBM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% per cent of the required quantity after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenation as required, grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause 519. (5th revision) 2013 using bitumen VG-30 (minimum Bitumen's 4.50% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula ) using 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P, appropriate rollers and with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade. The milled material to be used in DBM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. Note: - If bitumen required more than 4.50% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. 3). Where there is DBM on existing black top , cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Providing & Laying 40mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm. layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres. (HSR 6.6)

10 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 on walls. (HSR 15.2).

12 mm thick cement plaster 1:4. (HSR 15.5).

Cement concrete 1:8:16 with stone aggregate 40mm Nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.28)

Cement concrete 1:2:4 with stone aggregate 20mm Nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.41)

Cement concrete 1:11/2:3 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size for reinforced, concrete work in footings, strips, foundations, beams , rafts, pedestals and approach slabs of bridges etc. excluding steel reinforcement but including centering and shuttering, laid in position, complete in all respects (For works upto 1.5 metres. below ground level). Extra over item Nos. 10.79 to 10.94, if 1:11/2:3 mix is used, instead of 1:2:4 {HSR 10.90 + 10.95 (a)}.

Precast chaquered tiles of 20mm thickness In ordinary grey cement without chips laid on 20mm thick bed of cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 with neat cement slurry between joints and over the base in floors, treads of steps and landings. (HSR 14.45)

Applying priming coat with cement Primer in all shades on newly plastered or concrete exterior surface. (HSR 16.25)

Painting two coats with ready mixed exterior paint in all shades on newly plastered or concrete surface of walls (HSR 16.26)

Pre-cast cement concrete 1:11/2:3 with aggregate 20 mm nominal size in Krebs and the like items, finished smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 on exposed surface including from work, placing and fixing in position, complete at the ground level or in first storey. Extra over item Nos. 10.79 to 10.94, if 1:11/2:3 mix is used, instead of 1:2:4 (HSR 10.77 + 10.95)

Earthwork excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth- (b) Earth-work undressed with a combined lead upto 15 metre including breaking of clods. Berms i/c jungle clearance by removing of kabli kikker & small bushes etc from berms of road including dressing on berms (HSR 6.2b+6.3 ii)

Precast cement concrete 1:11/2:3 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size in tiles and channels and the like items, finished smooth with 6mm thick cement plaster 1:3 on exposed surface including form work, placing and fixing in position, complete at the grouted level or in first storey extra over item Nos. 10.79 to 10.94, if 1:1 1/2:3 mix is used instead of 1:2:4 {HSR 10.78+10.95 (a)}

Steel reinforcement TMT bars FE-500 EQR/ FE-500 D grade or more for RCC work, where no included in the complete rate of RCC including straightening, bending, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights/depth/storey's/basements etc. Note: Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlap. Wastage, overlaps, coupling, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. (HSR 18.22)

Applying priming coat with metal primer on New steel or iron work including preparation of surface. (Note:- First quality paint/primer of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.9 +16.17)

Preparation of plastered or concrete surface for painting including sand papering the surface, applying one coat of linseed oil and filling with approved quality filler, consisting of white lead, linseed oil, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing surface to the required finish complete (HSR 16.24)

Wrought iron and mild steel (using angles, flats square bars, tees and channels) ladders, grills, gratting frames, window guards, iron doors openable or fixed stair case or parapet or any other type of railing, gates and tree guards etc., including cost of screws and welding rods or bolts and nuts complete fixed in position. (HSR 18.12)

Providing and marking centre line / side line 2.5 mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint 10cms wide / 15cm wide complete in all respects as furnishing all labour, materials, tools, equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site conforming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road & bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name, trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture, color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/ Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo.The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer – in – charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirements of the specifications. The reflectorzing Glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause – 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause – 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS : 3262 (Part – 3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Pavement marker (Cat Eyes) molded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specification of category A of MORTH circular No.W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2mm and height not less than 30 +/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacture's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M)

Providing and fixing of shoulder mounted sign boards of various sizes using non-metalic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick Aluminium Composite Panel as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported on Mild steel pipe post 80mm NB medium class 4mm thick embedded M-20 grade concrete foundation of size 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, complete as per drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 600mm Equilateral Triangle.

Providing and fixing road side delineator of height 1200 mm made of M.S. tube size 100 x 80 mm having thickness 1.2mm of height 900mm and balance 300mm of M.S. Angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm. Having Micro prismatic retro-reflective panel confirming to IRC 67-2012 type 4 HIP and of size 80mm x 150 mm on both sides as per clause no 800 of MORT&H. Complete delineator processed by heat treatment process to makes it resistant to all whether effects fixed in C.C. 1:2:4 block size of 300 x 300 x 450 mm as clause No. 806 of MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013

Providing and fixing retro-reflective hazard marker conforming to IRC79: 1981 of size 900 x 300mm with back support of M.S angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm and post of 50 x50 x 5 mm, 1500mm high embedded into 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3m M20 grade concrete as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro-prismatic retro-reflective sheet confirming to IRC:67-2002 type IV specification fixed on 3mm thick aluminum composite. Material sheet as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5mm thick aluminum on both sides. (of reputed make such as Array Dennison/3M)

Providing and fixing retro-reflective light bollards 1500 high as per site requirements, using non-metalic micro prismatic retro reflective sheets confirming to IRC: 67-2012 type 4, HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminum composite material sheet as base having 0.5mm thick aluminum on both sides having circular board of size 450mm dia, sheeting of blue back ground and white arrow. The other board will be of size 600 mm x 400 mm made up of high intensity retro-reflective sheeting type-4 fixed over aluminum composite panel sheet 3mm thick both of the boards fixed on 80mm NB dia 16 gauge M.S. pipe duly printed. The board to be fixed in CC 1:2:4 block of size 300x300x450mm.

Providing and erecting OVERHEAD SIGNS including gantry using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC: 67-2012 Type IV specification fixed on 4mm thick Aluminium Composite Panels as base board with Pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported by M.S. Pipe Structure complete as per drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge including construction of R.C.C. foundation for providing of M.S. Tubular structure for Cantilever signage at given site as per drawing enclosed. The C.C. mix to be in ration of 1:11/2:3 (RCC 1:11/2:3) and that of lean to be ratio of 1:3:6 the work will be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Overhead Sign Gantry (Two Lane) Size- 12000mm x 1500mm retro-reflective both sides.

Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI pipe of size 2.45m x 1.15 m with 900mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected / welded with 5mm thick steel plate of 50mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the drawing and fixing at site in 60x60x75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Providing and installing shoulder mounted direction signage of various sizes using non-metalic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC-67-2012 type IV, HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick Aluminium composite panels as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported on single or two nos, Mild steel Pipe post 80mm NB medium Class 4 mm thick embeded in M-20 Grade concrete foundation of size) (600mm x 600 mm x 750 mm), complete as per drawings, Technical Specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Size 1200mm x 900mm

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- (i) Bituminous mix material @ Rs.1360.00/- P. Cum. Note: - All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
