M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of concrete/ bituminous pavements by cleaning with metal wire brushes, brooms and finally dusting with a piece of cloth /rags and applying one coat of white wash on surfaces exc 10 cm width complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rates for supply of material are included in the item.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces by scrapping with metal wire brush and other suitable tools to remove all damaged & flaked paints and clean the surface by sweeping and then using electric blower to remove all dust and loose particles and applying one coat of road marking paint of 40 micron dry film thickness, water based matt finished as per IS-164 of White, Golden Yellow, Deep Orange, Red and Black in lines, dashes, arrows, letter, circle, triangle etc on concrete or bituminous surfaces/pavements and the like not exceeding 10 cm in width as in White Boxes/ Black borders/ Taxi Line/ Guide Line/ FOD Line/ etc Mechanical laser guided pavement marking machine having auto layout system with two Guns for Airless spray application at 3300 PSI as per IS-164/RM-164 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Make of Pavement Marking Machine:- GRACO Model: Linelazer or equivalent as approved by GE) Note : Quoted rate shall be deemed to inclusive of the cost of materials, labour and T&P required for the job.

M&L for preparation of oblitrated /new or untreated surfaces and applying two coats of road marking paint (each coat of 40 micron dry film thickness), water based, matt finished, as per IS-164 of White, Golden Yellow, Deep Orange, Red and Black in lines, dashes, arrows, letter, circle, triangle etc on obliterated / new or untreated surfaces of concrete or bituminous surfaces/pavements and the like not exceeding 10 cm in width as in White Boxes/ Black borders/ Taxi Line/ Guide Line/ FOD Line/ etc with Mechanical laser guided pavement marking machine having auto layout system with two Guns for Airless spray application at 3300 PSI as per IS-164/RM-164 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. M&L for Raking out existing filling in Expansion joints of width exc 08mm but n. exc. 15mm up to required depth as specified & as directed by special tools like concrete cutter, wire/coir brushes/ machines and joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, making free from all the loose materials i.e., dirt, dust, grease, existing sealing compound, filler board (as required), including sticked material of existing compound raked up to full depth (up to 40mm) of joints etc to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and filling the joint with polyurethane joint sealing compound using mechanical means with depth of joint sealing compound not less than 13mm (minimum depth above the back up rod) with minimum performance guarantee of 5 years and minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) + 30% confirming to the requirements of BS-5212 and EN-141875-2003 for Hydrolysis/ water resistance test including applying primer (applied twice on one side by forward and reverse movement of brush) and filling the balance raked depth of joint with backup material i.e. polythene backup rod to ensure tight packing, so that no gaps or voids exist at the top of backup material separated by bond breaker tape over suitable size filler board in position where required and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surfaces to give a neat finish to the sealant and remove the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete as per manufacturer's instructions complete and all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (NOTE: Polythene back up rod, bond breaker tape and filler board, if required to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately. Cost of other materials are deemed to be included in the quoted rates)

All as per Ser Item No. 09 above but for expansion joint of width exc 15mm but n.exc 30mm

S&F closed cell polythene back up rod, medium density for joints of width exc 8 mm but not exc 15 mm. (NOTE: Width/Dia of back up rod shall be 20 to 25% more than the joint so that there is no seepage of sealant through joints edges)

S&F 25 mm thick non-bituminous cross linked polymer filler board, HD100 (with 100 density) for expansion joints complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE: Filler board shall be measured in multiples layers proportionately in case of required thickness more than 25 mm on site)

S&F bond breaker tape, of approved quality, suitable for joints in concrete pavements of width exc 8 mm but not exc 15 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of Grass Shurbs, Weeds, Bushes, Vegetations, etc. with the help of Bush Cutting Machine including small shrubs, plants etc with girth up to 30cm along the Sides of Runway, PTT, Links, etc. including collecting and disposing all waste, trimmings etc outside AF land as required, complete all as specified and directed. NOTES: (1) The height of grass shrubs, weeds, bushes, vegetation etc should not exceed 200mm after cutting and it shall measured in Pocket wise which includes cutting of edges in drain/PTT/ any area other than grass surfaces. (2) Measurement for payment shall made be after execution of above mentioned requirement in pocket wise. (3) Pocket/Task area shall be as decided and directed by Engineer in Charge. (4) Proper record shall be maintained wrt location & date of execution of work. (5) All T&P, machinery incl fuel and labour shall be arranged by the contractor. (5) Disposal of waste is deemed to be included in quoted rates. Contractor shall ensure immediate removal of all waste materials after cutting, trimming etc under his own arrangement and dispose off outside AF land as per Municipal Corporation/State Govt regulations. (6) Contractor shall ensure that the waste/trims are not blown on runways, PTT, links etc and shall depute labourers for immediate cleaning/sweeping & removal from site to avoid FOD. Contractor's quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the above aspect.

All as per item No. 16 here-in-before but with the help of Jungle Jim Tractor.

Ploughing of SGA not less than 30 cm in depth using proper machinery/T&P & its connecting tools required for ploughing including breaking of soil lumps, levellling and finishing complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- T&P, fuel and labour required for the job shall be arranged by the contractor.

Scraping of grass shurbs, weeds, bushes, vegetation etc manually at ground level including removal of small irregularities in natural ground & levelling including collecting and disposing all waste, trimmings etc outside AF land as required, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES : (1) This item is intended for narrow stretch or location which is inaccessible by machines. Measurement for this item shall be considered upto a max width of 75cm. (2) Proper record shall be maintained wrt location & date of execution of work. (3) Disposal of waste is deemed to be included in quoted rates. Contractor shall ensure immediate removal of all waste materials after cutting, trimming etc under his own arrangement and dispose off outside AF land as per Municipal Corporation/State Govt regulations.

M&L for bringing suitable earth from outside AF land for filling in shoulders, berms etc alongside Runway, PTT, Links etc., spreading in layers not exc 30 cm thick watering, ramming & rolling with 5 to 10 tonne power roller and finishing to required level camber and gradient, shape etc complete and all as per directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES :- (1) Earth required for embankment/filling shall be of approved quality and shall be brought from outside the AF land by contractor under his own arrangement. No extra shall be admissible on this account. (2) T&P, fuel and labour required for the job shall be arranged by the contractor. (e) Quoted rate shall be deemed to included for all labour required for excavation, removing the soil, loading and unloading, making temporary profiles, breaking earth lumps, levelling etc. (3) Density of finished earth in embankment, bers etc shall be as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. (4) Necessacry deduction for voids in terms of Para 3.6 on Ser page No 21 of SSR Part-II, 2020 (Rates) shall be carried out from the finished quantity of earthwork. Contractor's quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the above aspect and no claim shall be entertained at a later date in this regard.
