M&L pavement quality concrete (PQC), minimum 28 days field flexural stength 45 Kg per Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table-3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard, strong, dense, non-porus and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggragate of clean natural sand or crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360Kg per Cum of cement mixed with polyester non-circular, virgin synthetic fibre at the rate as specified by the Manufacturer's (or as directed). PQC shall be laid in bays, spread, paved, compacted & finished as per required gradient and chamber with slip-form paver of minimum width 7.5 mtr, including curing and tining by Texturing cum Curing machine (required surface texturing to be done as specified in clause 10.1.14 and Table 9 of IRC:15-2017) complete all as specified & directed. Notes:- (i) Polyester non-circular fibre as secondary reinforcement shall be measured & paid separately as" supply only" however mixing of same is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (ii) Formwork wherever required shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iii) The cost of the design mix shall be borne by the contractor. Testing of flexural strength shall be carried out as specified and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iv) The contents of cement specified, is the minimum content and in case the quantity of cement required more according to approved design mix, nothing extra shall be paid for increased content of cement and rates deemed to be included for increased cement content (if any).

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5mtr deep and getting out, in soft/loose type of soil complete all as specified & directed.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth solids, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., not exceeding 1.5 mtr high from base complete all as specified & directed.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth solids, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., exceeding 1.5 mtr but not exceeding 3.0 mtr high from base complete all as specified & directed.

Uprooting scrubs / plant / flora / fauna on walls (any height), girth not exceeding 100mm, cutting holes in walls, digging out roots and applying sulphuric acid / phenolic acid as per manufacturers instructions to burn out deep grown roots and making good the surface using cement mortar 1:3 mixed with & including water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified & directed Note : Necessary cost of scaffolding(if required) shall deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Roughening surface of old concrete floor by picking sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc. and brushing neat cement slurry @ 3.0 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified & directed.

M&L water proofing treatment to roof slab complete all as specified here-in-below & as directed by Engineer-in-charge:- (i) Levelling of surface to give proper slope will be done as per site requirements with Bituminous Mortar & Cold Emulsion cum waterproofing Liquid of water based bituminous emulsion. (ii) Creating SSD condition on surface with water. Prime the surface with acrylic modified bitumen with potable water in the ratio of 1:1 and apply @400gm per Sqm (as per Surface Conditions). (iii) Apply first coat of acrylic modified bitumen having elongation 200% conforming to ASTM-C-412 & having crack bridging of 8mm confirming to ASTM-C-836 with tensile strength after 7 days 0.50mm conforming to ASTM-C-412 with no diluation of water on primed surface while the surface is still tacky with consumption of 700gm per Sqm. (iv) Laying Geotex of 45 GSM/ Fibre mesh simultaneously and paste it properly with overlap of 50mm. Allow the first coat to dry for 10 hrs to 12 hrs. (v) Apply second coat on cured first coat with consumption @ 700gm per Sqm in opposite direction of first coat by Brush or Roller. Allow it to dry for 10-12 hrs. (vi) Apply third coat with consumption @ 700gm per Sqm. Ensure final curing time of 36 hrs before allowing/ carrying out any further work. (vii) Conduct ponding test for minimum 7 day after applying two coats of single component , UV Resistant Elastomeric Exterior Acrylic Weather resistant water proof coating having elongation of 300% after curing of 14 days confirming to ASTM D- 6083-for UV Protection of Bituminous Elastomeric Acrylic Emulsified Liquid Membrane to give long life and prevent its deterioration from sunlight. Notes:- (i) The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators only duly approved by GE in writing. (ii) For Guarantee & Security deposit refer Particular specifications.

M&L preparation of RCC surface and applying two coats of extrerior acrylic emulsion paint (applied by auto roller) in camouflaging pattern of any shade over & including one coat of alkali reisistant primer complete all as specified & directed. Note: Sample of camouflaging pattern shall be approved by GE as per User's requirement.

Cleaning out of all vegetation growth by means of cutting/removing from the drain, width of drain not exceeding 45 cm, near bldg periphery, boundary wall and the like and making good the damaged/disturbed surfaces wherever required including material same as existing complete all as specified & directed.

M&L preparation of old plastered surface of wall and applying three coats of white lime wash complete all as specified & directed.

M&L raking out old existing sealing compound from joints(any type) of taxi track & runway, joints of width not exceeding 12 mm upto required depth by special tools like cutting blades/machines and joints cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, raker, coir brush etc. and making free from all the loose material i.e. dirt, dust, grease, existing sealing compound, as required including stacked material of existing compound racked up full depth of joints etc. to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and filling the joints with the polyurethane joints sealant single compound component using mechanical means to a depth of 10mm (depth minimum above the backup rod) with minimum performance guarantee of 10 years and minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) +/-30 % confirming to the requirement to BS 5212, BS 4254 and EN -141875 -2003 for hydrolysis / water resistance test including two coat of primer and filling the balanced racked depth of the joint with the backup rod (i.e. closed cell polyethylene) of dia 25% more than the width of joints placed over existing joint filler board in position, to ensure tight packing so that no gaps or void exist at the top of backup material speared by bond break of suitable size HD10 filter in position where required and appling masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surface to give a neat finish to the sealant and remove the making tape after sealant is applied complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions and complete all as specified & directed

M&L repair to damaged and/or broken edges, corners of the existing cement concrete slabs of runway/taxi track by cutting upto a depth of 10mm to 50mm, damaged, spoiled exists in concrete pavements, slabs to rectangular or square in cross section and removing all loose, foreign materials and dust etc. by any mechanical means as directed and disposing off the rubbish to a distance exceeding 100 mtr, cleaning the surfaces thoroughly with brush and compressed air and applying one coat of epoxy rich primer with sealer & filled with epoxy resin compound as specified including necessary from work, wherever required, all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified & directed. Notes: (i) All the components of epoxy mortar such as resin, hardner, fillers, sand etc. shall be formulated by company itself and it shall be brought at site in sealed condition with company packing. (ii) Company packing once opened, the whole materials shall be consumed within one hour and left over material shall not be reused. (iii) Before executing the work at the site, all the required material shall brought to site in a single lot as approved and recorded in MB with test certificates and guarantee certificates issued by the manufacturer.

M&L for laying Coir Geotextile 700 GSM all as specified here-in-below & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:- (i) Levelling of the surface to give proper slope will be done as per site requirement. (ii) Trenches measuring 30cm x 30cm will be dig at the base of the slope along its entire length. (iii) Laying Coir Geotextile starting from top and till the foot of slope encompassing the trench with an overlap of 10cm and securing the overlaps with nylpon cable zip ties at a distance not exceeding 1.0 mtr. (iv) J-hooks 45cm long should be used for anchoring the Geotextile in the soil at a distance of 1.5 mtr c/c in both directions. (v) Returning filling the trench with the soil and compacting it with tamper. Note: No additional payment shall be made for overlap quantity of Geotextile.

M&L application of Nitozinc Primer an Anti corrosion coating to the steel reinforcement, primer shall be an epoxy, two component, zinc rich liquid packed and supplied ready to use. An unbroken 40 microns dft coating shall be capable of providing 'active' galvanic protection and avoiding the generation of incipient anodes in the immediately adjacent locations. It shall be of suitable viscosity to enable the coating to penetrate into imperfections and pits within the surface of the structural steel. The formulation of the primer shall be such that drying occurs to allow the application of the repair mortar after 45 minutes at 35 degree centigrade or after one hour at 20 degree centigrade. It shall be fully compatible with the reinstatement methods adopted complete all as specified & directed.

M&L application of bonding agent on old substrate using Nitobond EP is based on solvent free epoxy resins containing pigments and fine fillers. It is supplied as a two part material in pre-weighed quantities for ready onsite mixing and use. Coloured components - white base and green hardener, provide visual evidence that adequate mixing is achieved, it shall exhibits the following properties vig. Compressive strength 50 N/sqmm at 7D Flexural strenght 35N/sqmm at 7 D, Shear strength 10N/sqmm at 7D and Tensile strength 20 N/sqmm at 7D. Nitobond EP is designed with an overlay time of 10 hrs at 20 degree centigrade, 6 hours at 30 degree centigrade, ensure mixing and application as per the manufacturer's instructions and ensure leak proof shuttering is prepared to site requirement complete all as specified & directed.

M&L microconcrete thickness as per the drawing by consultant on the designated area to the prepared slurry tight shuttering with proper shear connector and bonding agent whereever necessary, the fluid micro-concrete repair material shall be a single component, cement based, Renderoc® RG micro-concrete to which only the site-addition of clean water (and approved graded coarse aggregates where specified) shall be permitted. The microconcrete shall contain no metallic aggregates, or chlorides and shall be shrinkage compensated in the plastic state.The micro concrete in the flowable consistency should achieve a compressive strength of 50 N/sqmm after 28 days at 30 degree centigrade. The unrestrained expansion shall be between 1% - 4%. The flexural strength shall not be less than 5 N/sqmm @ 28 days. The microconcrete shall have a coefficient of thermal expansion similar to that of the host concrete. The mixed density of microconcrete shall exceed 2100 Kg/Cum at 27 degree centigrade, strictly following manufacturer instruction complete all as specified & directed

Dismantling posts or struts (steel or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion of post in concrete, brick work, masonry etc. and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified & directed.

S&F rolled mild steel section as Joist, channel, angle, tubes, flats or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated) confirming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality-A including cutting, bending, complete all as specified & directed.

M&L preparation of new steel and iron based surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over & including one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified & directed.

M&L plain mild steel wire 4.0mm dia, galvanised class 3, in fencing including straining and fixing to wood, concrete or steel posts and/or to straining bolts, including securing with and provision of galvanised iron tying wire, galvanised iron staples or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified & directed. Note: Each line of wire to be measured

Demolition of Reinforced cement concrete(RCC) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided including cutting the reinforcement as required to facilitate demolition and removal of debris outside the MoD land complete all as specified & directed. Note: Steel obtained from demolition shall be credited to contractor.

M&L reinforced cement concrete (RCC) M-20, design mix, using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down carefully aluminium point wiring (light, fan, bell, socket or power) complete, including taking out/down of fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, lamp holder, bell push, call bell etc. and making good disturbed surfaces of walls/floors/ceilings etc. complete all as specified & directed .

M&L surface point wiring with flame retardant low smoke(FRLS), PVC insulated unsheathed cable of 1.5 sqmm single core multistranded copper conductor, 1100 volt, drawn through in and including stove enamelled steel conduit not less than 25mm bore medium grade ISI marked, with fittings including all tees, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, saddles, pipe hooks etc. as in wall/ceiling/roof etc. with new sunken type pressed steel/welded MS terminal boxes of not less than 1.6mm wall thickness(duly painted with two coat of anticorrosive paint outside & aluminium paint inside) with decorative laminated sheet top cover 3.0mm thick including flame retardant low smoke(FRLS), PVC insulated, unsheathed, single core multistranded copper earth conductor 1.5 sqmm connected to common earth and earth dolly for one light point controlled by one way switch 5/6 Amp complete all as specified & directed.

Description all as per BOQ Item No. 32 here-in-above but for one socket outlet point 5/6 Amp controlled by one way switch on the same board.

M&L surface point wiring with flame retardant low smoke(FRLS), PVC insulated unsheathed cable of 2.5 sqmm single core multistranded copper conductor, 1100 volt, drawn through in and including stove enamelled steel conduit not less than 25mm bore medium grade ISI marked, with fittings including all tees, bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, saddles, pipe hooks etc. as in wall/ceiling/roof etc. with new sunken type pressed steel/welded MS terminal boxes of not less than 1.6mm wall thickness(duly painted with two coat of anticorrosive paint outside & aluminium paint inside) with decorative laminated sheet top cover 3.0mm thick including flame retardant low smoke(FRLS), PVC insulated, unsheathed, single core multistranded copper earth conductor 2.5 sqmm connected to common earth and earth dolly for one socket outlet point 15/16 Amp controlled by one way switch on the independent board complete all as specified & directed.

M&L surface submain wiring with two single core FRLS, PVC insulated, unsheathed cable, 1100 volts grade, 2.5 sqmm nominal cross sectional area stranded copper conductor and one single core green FRLS, PVC insulated, unsheathed 2.5 sqmm stranded copper conductor as earth continuity cable drawn through in & including stove enamelled steel conduit medium grade ISI marked not less than 25mm bore including accessories as in wall/floors/roof etc. including dismantling / taking down of old existing surface submain wiring complete all as specified & directed.

S&F in replacement copper strip 20mm x 3mm on FRP insulator fixed on wall/MS sheet or floors including connecting to lightening arrester/ earthing/ test point, strip should be brazed /welded at each joint complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement aluminium strip 25mm x 3.15mm on FRP insulator fixed on wall/MS sheet or floors including connecting to lightening arrester/ earthing/ test point, strip should be brazed /welded at each joint complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F busbar chamber, size 600mm x 600mm x 450mm suitable of 3 phase 415 volt outdoor type, fabricated out of 3.15mm thick MS sheet with 400 Amp rated aluminium busbar 4 Nos. PVC sleeves (coloured red, yellow, blue & black) with suitable locking arrangments and four legged angle iron stand made of angle iron of size 40x40x6mm duly grouted in and including foundation in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates alongwith all necessary cable connection, lugs and cable glands including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (of approved tint) over & including one coat of red oxide zinc chorme primer complete all as specified & directed.

Taking out / down faulty unserviceable LT UG cable from trenches/duct/ HT poles, any size/rating complete all as specified & directed. Note: Earth work shall be measured & paid separately.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5mtr wide & not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth; for foundation, laying/taking out pipes/cables etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan & not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth and getting out, in soft/loose type of soil complete all as specified & directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each in soft/loose type of soil complete all as specified & directed.

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

M&L sand cushioning with fine dry sand to cable with a layer of sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable (punned down to 18 cm thick after laying and stretching of cable) complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and laying old size, common burnt clay, sub class 'B' bricks, designation 75, laid flat & dry for protection of electric cable in trenches, adjacent to each other, perpendicular to central axis of cable complete all as specified & directed.

M&L boring/auguring hole below existing PCC/road/hard standing, size upto 50mm dia for inserting protection pipe for electric cable, boring not below than 600 mm from GL complete all as specified and directed.

M&L GI pipe 50mm bore, light grade for cable protection as in crossing under road/path, under floor/plinth protection or fixed to wall/pole with suitable size of flat iron clamps complete all as specified & directed .

For Credit Schedule refer tender documents. The amount of credit schedule shall be deducted from total quoted amount in BOQ to arrive contract sum.
