Note for item 08 to 19 above: (i) Excavation, earth work and provision of cable covers / protection pipe etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

Supply and laying as in replacement 50 mm bore tube "light grade" galvanised iron pipe laid in trenches or fixed along poles with mild steel clamps or protection to GI earth strip/cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Supply and laying as in replacement 80 mm bore tube "light grade" galvanised iron pipe laid in trenches or fixed along poles with mild steel clamps or protection to GI earth strip/cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level connecting to GI strip 32x6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel and earth wire protected by 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade and connected to pole structure/ panel board/earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I(2009) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The unit rate quoted shall also include for excavation, earth work in any type of soil, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 mix, Type C1 pit, 40mm thick RCC 1:2:4 mix type B1 cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bras @ 150mm C/C both ways, GI funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh, protection pipe, earth strip up to 7.50m long complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub heading earthing, specified in SSR Part II

Taking down old unserviceable ACB any type and Supply, installation testing and commissioning new LT ACB of 800 Amps four pole mannual draw out with thermal magnetic release based, 415 Volts, 50 Hz suitable for existing location alongwith replacement of burnt aluminum bus bar with connected nut bolts and lugs with new aluminum bus bar /nut bolts/lugs complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Taking down old unserviceable ACB any type and Supply, installation testing and commissioning new LT ACB of 1000 Amps four pole mannual draw out with thermal magnetic release based, 415 Volts, 50 Hz suitable for existing location alongwith replacement of burnt aluminum bus bar with connected nut bolts and lugs with new aluminum bus bar /nut bolts/lugs complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Design, fabricate, supply, installation, testing and commissioning in replacement of outdoor type dust proof & vermin proof cubical panel board compartmentalized with seperate bus and cable alley chambers suitable for 3 phase, 4 wire, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply system as per latest IS / IEC standards & regulations, factory fabricated in an approved factory (Manufacturer possessing CPRI test report for equivalent ratings) having modern fabrication facilities, made out of CRCA sheet steel of 3mm thick for outer shell and 2mm thick for inner shell with front and rear openable double leaf doors with two point locking arrangement i.e. locking system with handle up & down arrangement & pad-locking facility. Complete panel board shall be applied with powder coating painting of approved shade duly pretreated with seven tank process and suitable packing material for IP-54 degree of protection and including provision of 50mmx50mmx6mm angle iron base frame and four legs of suitable size for mounting the panel board with a minimum ground clearance of 450mm above GL to the bottom of panel including PCC foundation with PCC 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate.

Detachable gland plates including double compression stainless steel cable glands of suitable size shall be provided for all incoming and outgoing cables. Steel plate Danger Notice Boards(02 Nos) LT 415/440 Volts, and manufacturer's name plate shall be riveted on external doors of feeder pillar box. The size of panel board shall not be less than 1500mm x 1300mm x 450mm (outer dimensions) for accommodating and including provision of following switchgear, control gear and accessories including internal wiring using copper flexibles and lugs of suitable grade/capacity including taking down old unserviceable LT Panel complete all as specified and directed:-

(i) Bus bar: TPN Aluminium bus bar of suitable rating provided with heat shrinkable coloured PVC sleeve insulation mounted on insulators for main bus bar and from main bus bar to outgoing MCCBs and outgoing MCCBs up to cable termination etc complete. (The rating of main bus bar shall be 1.5 times of ampere rating of incomer and outgoing bus bar rating shall be 1.5 times of ampere rating of each outgoing MCCB.) and Continuous earth bus with GI strip of suitable size capable for carrying full short circuit current for 1 sec shall be provided at bottom of the panel. (ii) Incomer: (a) MCCB, 500 A, 4 Pole, 50 KA (Ics=100%Icu), 415 V, 50 Hz, with adjustable thermal & magnetic release - 01 No (b) Digital Voltmeter with selector switch - 01 Set. (c) Digital Ammeter with selector switch & suitable ratio of CT's - 01 set of 03 (d) LED Pilot light indication lamps for R,Y,B phases - 01 Set of 03 (iii) Outgoing:- (a) MCCB, 100 A, 3 Pole, 25 KA (Ics=100%Icu), 415 V, 50 Hz, with adjustable thermal & magnetic release - 08 Nos

Note: (i) Factory made name plates with feeder names / Bldg Nos shall be fixed on relevant incomer / outgoing MCCB doors. (ii) The Contractor shall submit set of all drawings of the L.T. Pillar Boxes and its components in duplicate and get the same approved from GE before commencement of production. The contractor shall furnish all details and clarifications required if any for scrutiny and evaluation. Manufacture of material to be supplied shall be done strictly as per approved drawing. However, approval of drawing shall not absolve the contractor/supplier of his liability for ensuring correctness according to applicable standards & regulations. Make:- As specified in list of makes as given in Appx 'B' of PS for Group - I of LT Panels

Design, Fabricate, supply, installation and testing in replacement of outdoor type cubical panel board bus bar box with MCCB suitable for 3 phase 4 wire, 50 Hz supply system factory fabricated made out of CRCA sheet steel of 3mm thick for outer shell and 2mm thick for inner shell with front openable door with locking arrangement complete with powder coat painting and suitable packing material for IP-54 degree of protection and including provision of 40mmx40mmx5mm angle iron base frame of suitable size for mounting the panel board at a height of 450mm above GL and grouted in PCC foundation. The size of panel board shall not be less than 500mm x 500mm x 300mm (outer dimensions) accommodating and provision of following switchgears complete and including taking down of old unserviceble panel:- (i) TPN Aluminium bus bar 400 Amps 4 strips provided with heat shrinkable coloured PVC sleeve insulation mounted on insulators suitable for connecting 2 or 3 outgoing cables including provision of suitable glands. (ii) MCCB, 250 A, 4 Pole, 36 KA (Ics=100%Icu), 415 V, 50 Hz, with adjustable thermal - magnetic release - 01 No. Make:- As specified in list of makes as given in Appx 'B' of PS for Group - II of LT Panels

Shutdown the power supply, disconnecting all incoming & outgoing cables carefully from outdoor type LT panel board, removing the burnt wiring and provision of new wiring, cleaning the bus bars, insulators and MCCBs with CTC, meggering the insulation value and replacing the bus bar supporting insulators wherever required to achieve required insulation resistance value, tightening all fasteners (renew if required), reconnecting back the incoming and outgoing cables with suitable cable Lugs, glands and wrapping the insulation tape on all bare conductors, supply and fixing EPDM rubber gasket for all doors for dust & vermin proof etc and testing on completion for proper functioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Replacement of unserviceable MCCBs shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Replacement of broken/corroded metal sheets/ angle iron parts of panel boards shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for repair and replacement of old and deteriorated MS sheet of any size and shape from the outdoor/indoor panel 3.00 mm thick and fix on outdoor/indoor panel as per required size and shape complete inclusive fixing the hinges, door lock etc, inclusive two coats of synthetic enamel paint as per existing colour over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Preparation of old steel surfaces of outdoor type LT panel boards of any size and painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide primer (both internally & externally) and fixing 02 Nos steel danger plates on panel board complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
