Demolition of cement Concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for for Bitumenous concrete (BC) 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) layer conforming to clause 507 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, with 5.5% binder (VG-30) contents by weight of total mix, crushed aggregate of grading 2, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved job mix formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen of specific temperature throughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives as per mix design in hot mix plant (batch type), carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks or any other approved and and suitable arrangements, laying and hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber through rolling with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed

Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 5.5 % VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/CTL/Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 5.4 % by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) The cost of materials, transportation, Job mix formula form lab and testing charges for various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of Filler i.e. rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be included in unit rate. (iv) if qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per KG and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified is respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

(v) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 of MoRT&H specification entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonnes (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonnes static weight, followed by finish rolling with 6 to 8 tonnes smooth wheeled tandem roller as per clause no. 507.4.8 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision) and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed Note : To be opreted on road where bituminious carpet not be carried out.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sq meters complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 2mm thick, white/yellow hot thermoplastic road marking paint, confirming to BS standards 3262 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by automatic mechnical engine driven machine, painting as in strips (continuous or breaking) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in repairs factory made pre polished pre cast cement concrete M-35, vibro compacted kerbs stone of size 300 x 300 x 100 mm chamfered or bull nosed on one edge with and including necessary earth work and setting in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed including necessary excavation not exceeding depth of 15 cm if any.

Material and labour for Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in kerbs or mud stops,rounded or chamfered on edges including form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing dual direction delenater made out of 18 guage MS rectangular pipe of size 25 x 68 mm and of length 700 mm pipe powder coated . Head made out of impact resistant plastic rectangular moulded with flat face provided with high intensity prismatic reflector of colour (white/yellow/red) of size 100 x 125 mm with additional two reflective strips of 25 mm wide all as specified and directed including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing in repairs retro reflective cautionary Mandatory/ Regulatory sign boards of 900 mm diametre with support length of 3750 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawing , specification and directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing in repair convex mirror minimum 100cm in dia outdoor type, body material- Polycarbonate, acrylic and mirror thickness not less than 3mm for traffic security purpose mounted on 2 mtr long SS pipe Gde 30G fixed with nut bolt and adjustable brackets/clamp system including necessary excavation and embeded in cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) (20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Premix bituminous, macadam using 4% binder content using paving bitumen (VG-30) by wt of total mix using hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using vibromax power roller of capacity 8 to 12 Tonne complete all as specified and directed (consolidated thickness not exceeding 75 mm) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrastatic paver finisher. (ii) Preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting in tipper.

Material and labour for preparation of old concrete painted surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye/ stud aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd mpleted as per manufactures instructions etc. completed all as specified and directed.
