The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed similar works. The similar works can be either of the following: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the value of work, with a mentioned value of Rs 985.24 Lacs for three works. - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the value of work, with a mentioned value of Rs 1231.55 Lacs for two works. - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the value of work, with a mentioned value of Rs 1970.48 Lacs for a single work. Substantially completed works are defined as those works which are at least 95% completed. The bidder should have acquired the experience of execution of all major items of works under the proposed contract. The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last seven years.
