E/Work in embankment and subgrade of minimum 300mm thick in raising portion in Km 14.330 to 17.300 with soil minimum CBR of 8% ( 4 days soaked) obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of section 301 of MoRD specification Clause No. 301. As per technical X-section appended in DNIT. The finished road surface will be as per X-section and L-Section approved by Employer with respect to GTS . At no place, sub grade of raised road will be less than 0.90 mtr above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100mtr will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge row. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from row. In built up area criteria of 0.90 Mtr. High over NSL shall not apply. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 5568.75cum. Then actual quantity (less than 5568.75 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out to be more than 5568.75 cum, then only 5568.75 cum will be paid Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500mm of subgrade with earth of minimum CBR 8% (4 days soaked) shall be constructed at each location. Whenever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR (4days soaked) shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L- section and X section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS as per directive. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do

Preparation of sub-grade including trenching rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to given levels and camber , watering, rolling with road roller and compacting the bed in all respect before laying paving material [confirming to clause 301 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004] Note: - In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Providing and laying 150mm thick Granular Sub Base consisting of filter layer confirming to table 400.1 Grading-I of MORD specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause no. 401 of MORD specification-2004. Note:- 1. Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero plasticity index (PI) 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by Engineer.

Providing & laying 75 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 63mm to 45mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with three wheeled power rollers of 80-100 KN capacity or tandem or vibratory of 80-100 KN static weight to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause no 405 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004) as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 150/225 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-III) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with three wheeled power rollers of 80-100 KN capacity or tandem or vibratory of 80-100 KN static weight to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause no 405 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004) as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer mix including bitumen emulsion @ 1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical specification clause 502 of MoRD specification Rural roads-2004. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed strictly. Note:- Bituminous Macadam to be laid with in 24 Hrs. of laying primer coat & Tack coat does not required to be provided above the primer coat. However, if the BM is not laid with in 24 hours of laying prime coat, then tack coat would have to be provided by the contractor but no payment of the same shall be made and it would be incidental to work.

Providing and applying Tack coat of VG 10 ( 80/100 grade) bitumen using bitumen @ 0.25 kg per sqm including clearing and blowing dust off the surface using a compressor and brooms conforming to clause 503 of MoRD specification-2004. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen VG-10 will be followed strictly.

Providing and laying first coat surface dressing, including rolling with road roller etc. complete including cost of bitumen VG-10 grade using aggregate 13mm nominal size 1.00 cum and bitumen VG-10, 0.10 MT per hundred square metre. Clause 509 of MORT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Complete all respect

Pdg. & laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in Batch type hot mix plant, with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P., transporting and laying at site with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade and compacting to the required grade level and thickness with appropriate rollers all as specified in clause 519 (5th Revision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30. (minimum Bitumen's 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula) complete in all respect. Note: - 1. If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. 2. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing laying and rolling of open graded pre mix carpet (PC) of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2 to 5.6 aggregates using bitumen VG-10 @1.36 kg per sqm. (93% bitumen) and processed waste plastic @ 0.10 Kg/Sqm (Waste Plastic 7%) as per IRC SP -98 -2013 to required line , grade and level to serve as wearing course on previously prepared base , including mixing in a suitable plant, transported to site , laying with paver finisher and rolling with three wheeled 80-100 KN static roller capacity or with other approved equipment, finished to required level and grades as per MoRD specification clause 508. NOTE- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen @ 0.68 kg per sqm of road excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 510 of MoRD specification for rural roads 2004.

Providing & Laying 30 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision) 2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 (93% bitumen) and processed waste plastic @ 7% of bitumen content as per IRC SP -98 -2013 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Where there is only BC on existing black top, cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work. 2. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section . This item also includes E/W if required in sub grade for Widening and Shoulder. Earth used for sub grade, shoulder and berms should have minimum CBR of 8%. Note:- No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10cms wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tools equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 1702 of MoRD specification . Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads .the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade 5th km stone of standard design as per IRC-8 fixing in position including painting and printing etc as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703 of MoRD specification clause for rural roads-2004. Drawing attached in the DNIT (HSR Item no. 10.129(i))

Providing kilometer stone made of concrete as per specified design conforming to MoRD specification No. 1703, all inclusive, including cost of concrete, fixing, painting writing etc. ( conforming to MoRD specifications for Rural Roads-2004). (HSR Item no. 10.129(ii))

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY Maintenance board sign board with logo as per MoRD specification and drawing. Three MS plates of 1.6mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with S flat iron 25mm x 5mm size on back on edges, 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos,.75mm x 75mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube . All MS will be stove enamelded on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.0.

Providing and fixing Logo Board of PMGSY size 600×600mm diamond shape with 1 plate of size 900×250 mm made of 60 gauge sheet over frame of angle iron 25×5×3 as per PMGSY specifications & drawing, painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Pavement marker (Cat eyes)Molded shank raised pavement marker made polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a lad of 16000 Kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50mm and 100mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall 35+/-5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks(of diameter not less than 19+/-2mm and height no less than 30+/-2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 kg .Fixing will be bt drilling without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation(of reputed make such as 3M etc.)

Retro-reflectorised Traffic Signs Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminum sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801

Providing & fixing public Information board consisting of 75mm GI pipe of size 2.45m x 1.15m with 900mm x 900mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5mm thick steel plate of 50mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the drawing and fixing as site in 60 x 60x 75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, and disposal with all lead and lift , dressing of side and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material as per clause no. 305 of MoRD specification Rural roads-2004.

Providing & laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-15 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retared setting of concrete, improve work ability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in charge in foundation and plinth. Providing assembling, placing and maintaining till concreting HIGH STRENGTH DEFORMED STEEL BARS Fe-500 GRADE ( conforming to IS 1786 1985) for RCC work, reinforcement including cost of binding wires ( conforming to clause 1000 or 1200 of MoRD specification-2004 ( Only steel of TATA, RaNL make shall be used). Providing reinforced cement concrete crash barrier at the edges of the road approaches to bridge structures and medians, constructed with M-40 grade concrete without TMT reinforcement conforming to IRC:21 and dowel bars 25mm dia, 450 mm long at expansion joints filled with pre-moulded asphalt filler board, keyed to the structure on which it is built and installed as per design given in the enclosure to MOST circular no. RW/NH-33022/194-DO III dated 24th June 1994 as per dimensions in the approved drawing and at locations directed by the Engineer, all as specified as per clause 809 of MoRT&H specification, (HSR Item no. 10.76)

Providing and fixing hand rail over the crash barrier kerb consisting of MS base plate, embedded fasterner and nuts. MS vertical plates and pipes etc, as shown in the drawings and as per specifications and painting the same with 3 or more coats of paints. All the railling components as mentioned above to be hot dip galvanised with a zinc coating of at least 175 gm/sqm. Item to include all incidental works required to complete the work as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (N.S)

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lift and lead (RCC) as per Technical Specification Clause 202. Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- Bituminous mix material @ Rs.1500/- P.Cum.

Old Granular Crust @ Rs.560/- P.Cum.

Good Bricks @ Rs.4.50/- Per Each

Brick Bats @ Rs.400/- P.Cum.

Steel @ Rs.25/- Per Kg. Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- If any discrepancy found in the unit/Nomenclature in the items of BOQ. The nomenclature of HSR/MoRT&H shall be applicable. NOTE- It may kindly be noted that the contractor would be obligated to carry out 05 years paid maintenance as per the rates fixed in the DNIT. However, the items of 05 years maintenance shall not be part of BOQ to avoid any confusion.
