Compaction of & preparation of sub grade including loosening, levelling of earth 225 mm thick top layer, rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level, camber, watering, rolling with road roller, compacting the bed to achieve minimum dry density as given in the Table 3000-2 as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications (HSR 17.5.3)

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 30 and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work confirming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section. This item also includes E/W if required in sub grade for Widening and Shoulder. Earth used for sub grade, shoulder and berms should have minimum CBR 8%. Note:- No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing and laying 150mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading-I of MoRD specification, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared suface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRD specification-2004. Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 75 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with three wheeled power rollers of 80-100 kN capacity or tandem or vibratory of 80-100 kN static weigth to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause no 405 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004) as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-III) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with three wheeled power rollers of 80-100 kN capacity or tandem or vibratory of 80-100 kN static weigth to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause no 405 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads-2004) as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer mix including silane at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical specification clause 502 of MoRD specification Rural roads-2004. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed strictly. Note:- Bituminous Macadam to be laid with in 24 Hrs. of laying primer coat & Tack coat does not required to be provided above the primer coat. However, if the BM is not laid with in 24 hours of laying prime coat then tack coat would have to be provided by the contractor but no payment at the same shall be made and it would be incidental to work.

Providing and applying Tack coat of VG 10 ( 80/100 grade) bitumen using bitumen @ 0.25 kg per sqm including clearing and blowing dust off the surface using a compressor and brooms ( conforming to clause 503 of MoRD specification-2004) for PC. Instructions issued from time to time by MoRD regarding bitumen VG-10 will be followed strictly.

Providing laying and rolling of open graded pre mix carpet (PC) of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2 to 5.6 aggregates using bitumen VG-10 @1.36 kg per sqm. (93% bitumen) and processed waste plastic @ 0.10 Kg/Sqm (Waste Plastic 7%) as per IRC SP -98 -2013 to required line , grade and level to serve as wearing course on previously prepared base , including mixing in a suitable plant, transported to site , laying with paver finisher and rolling with three wheeled 80-100 kn static roller capacity or with other approved equipment, finished to required level and grades as per MoRD specification clause 508. NOTE- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen @ 0.68 kg per sqm of road excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 510 of MoRD specification for rural roads 2004.

Providing and Laying 80 mm thick ISI marked Interlocking Paver Blocks conforming to IS 15658:2006/IRC SP 63: 2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M 40 over the bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. (HSR 17.69.2)

Manufacturing, laying of table vibrator cement concrete blocks of size 450mm X 300mm X 150mm of cement concrete(C.C) M-30 grade and spreading 25mm thick sand under neath and filling joints with sand on existing base as per Technical specification Clause 1503 of MoRD specification for Rural roads 2004.

Providing & fixing Reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade precast 5th kilometre stone of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc complete as per technical clause 804 of MORTH Specifications (HSR.34.27.1).

Providing & fixing Reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade precast ordinary kilometre stone of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc complete as per technical clause 804 of MORTH Specifications (HSR.34.27.2)

Providing and fixing 200 m stone made of concrete as per specified design conforming to MoRD specification no. 1703; all inclusive, including cost of concrete, fixing, painting, writing etc. ( conforming to MoRD specifications for Rural Roads-2004).

Reinforced cement concrete M 15 grade boundary pillars of standard design as per IRC:25-1967, fixed in position including finishing and lettering but excluding painting. Note: In case of soft ground, a proper foundation may be provided as per approved design. In case foundation is required to be provided, the items of excavation and foundation concrete are required to be measured and paid separately.

Providing & fixing Hazard Marker sign board 300x900mm rectangular as per IRC 67- 2012 with using retro reflective Sheeting Class C as per ASTM D 4956 09 and IRC 67 2012, fixed over 4mm thick Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) sheeting having skin thickness of 0.4 to 0.5 mm on both sided and fixing the same with suitable size aluminium alloy rivets @ 200 mm c/c to back support frame of 25x25x3mm angle iron supported on a square hollow steel section post 60x60x3.2mm conforming to IS 4923 firmly fixed to ground including foundation concrete M-25 of size 0.45x0.45x0.60m for vertical post complete as per clause 801 of MORT&H specifications. Supplier shall provide a warranty as per clause 6.9 of IRC 67-2012 for retro reflective sheeting & a certified copy of test reports from an independent test laboratory including three year outdoor weathering test report for sheeting tested in India condition conforming to clause 6.7 of IRC 67- 2012. Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, and disposal with all Lead and lift, dressing of side and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material as per clause no. 305 of MoRD specification Rural roads-2004.

Providing and laying 600mm dia reinforced cement concrete pipe NP-4 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1 :2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per clause 2900 of MORT&H specifications Note: - Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released. (HSR.17.61.1)

Steel reinforcement Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more for R.C.C. work, where not included in the complete rate of RCC, including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. complete in all respect below plinth level. Note: - Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work , excluding overlaps. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods of binding & placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. Providing and laying of Filter media with granular materials satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2. of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and Technical Specification.HSR-27.16.1)

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/ Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/ retum wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 V :20H towards drawing force. Complete as per drawing and MoRT&H Specifications (HSR-27.15)

Providing and applying 2 coats of water based cement paint to unplastered concrete surface after cleaning the surface of dirt, dust, oil, grease, efflorescence and applying paint @ of 1 litre for 2 sqm.(HSR-27.49)

Providing and laying of apron with cement concrete blocks of size 0.5:x0.5:x0.5 m cast in situ and made with nominal mix of M-15 grade cement concrete with a minimum cement content of 250 kg/cum as per IRC: 21-2000.(HSR-35.8)

Providing Drainage Spouts complete as per drawing no. SD/205 and MoRT&H MoRT&H specification clause 2705 with 6 meter long GI 100 mm dia drainage GI light grade pipe (For Bridges) (HSR-27.44.1)

Recovery Items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned. Bituminous Material @ Rs. 1885 per cum. Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoritical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual sacrifying is found no lesser side , no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rates and quantity exhibited in the entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rates and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made . The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rates by the agency . No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purpose in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
